Greg Hicks, former deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, told congressional investigators that the State Department internal review of the catastrophe at the mission in Benghazi "let people off the hook," CNN has learned.
The Accountability Review Board "report itself doesn’t really ascribe blame to any individual at all. The public report anyway," Hicks told investigators, according to transcript excerpts obtained by CNN. "It does let people off the hook."
The board's report on the Benghazi attack, in which Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed in September, is being reviewed by the State Department's Office of Inspector General.
Rep. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said Sunday on CBS that Hicks will testify Wednesday in a congressional hearing on the deadly attack in Benghazi.
"In our system, people who make decisions have been confirmed by the Senate to make decisions," Hicks told investigators."The three people in the State Department who are on administrative leave pending disciplinary action are below Senate confirmation level. Now, the DS (Diplomatic Security) assistant secretary resigned, and he is at Senate confirmation level. Yet the paper trail is pretty clear that decisions were being made above his level. . .

The more of these articles I’m reading tonight, the more convinced I am that Hussein and Her Heinous should both be charged with ACCESSORY TO MURDER. They both have blood-covered hands.
The disinformation campaign about the video the Obama Adminstaion and Hillary used to deflect the blame from themselves was amazingly irresponsible and destructive.
I order to save their skins, Obama and Hillary created and spread a false story about a video no one had ever seen that fanned the flames of hatred and violence around the Middle East and the rest of the Muslim world.
It gave rise to multiple riots in multiple countries, resulting in the deaths of many people and the attacking and sacking of most American Embassies along with the Embassies of many other Western Countries in the Middle East and other Muslim countries around the world.
The damage that this BS Video story did world wide did irreparable harm to the United States image and prestige in the Muslim world, cost many innocent lives, has undermined many stable governments in the region, gave aid and comfort to radical Islamic Al Qeada groups working to take control of the new and still weak and disorganized Arab Spring governments,cost billions of dollars of damage, has resulted in riot destruction that will take years to repair in countries that don't have the assets to easily rebuild.
These events are a direct consequence of Obama and Hillary trying to cover for their incompetence and whatever else motivated them in Libya
It is the single most unnecessary and irresponsible action taken by any President since Jimmy Carter turned Iran over to the Radicals.
It probably rises to the level of criminal behavior.
