Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

No worse than the lunatics in D.C. running this asylum.

Yes, Jesse Ventura is worse, he's a complete wackadoodle.

But but but...she can see Russia from her house and wants to ban books and thinks dinosaurs roamed the earth 6000 years ago and insists on “bendy” straws and wears nice cloths and and and... /sarc

I would support her with a caveat. She has to denounce this immigration bill and this pathway to citizenship crap and commit to enforcement only. She might anger the Rinos especially McCain on this point but it shouldn’t matter. She’s already repaid her debt to him. If she has denounced it already then I’m on-board the Palin Express.

She is more like me and my beliefs than any of the others. I understand why she stepped down from the Governor’s seat, anyone that doesn’t isn’t looking at the facts and is believing the liberal and Karl Rove press.

With my money and by working the precincts. But, if the GOP-e doesn’t get 100% on board, it will be my last election ever as a Republican.

In fact, if she or Cruz is not the candidate, I probably have already spent my last dime as a Republican.

You are making my point. Not the least of Romney’s many defects as a candidate was that he had done little to develop, present, and advocate his views before running for President. In contrast, Reagan had delivered political speeches and written articles for decades before he ran for President. Even before announcing as a candidate, Reagan was thus well-defined as a conservative and had staked out detailed positions on the issues of the day.

THe one that grew State Government by 28% her first year, that helped to tax the living poop out of the oil companies, resulting in higher unemployment - then gave the money away - just like a Dem?

According to Breitbart.

""Jobs,
Under Palin’s leadership, Alaska was 2nd in job growth, and 3rd in the change in its unemployment rate, compared to the other states. Alaska also saw a record number of oil jobs in both 2008 and 2009, while natural resource and logging jobs increased 13.7% during Palin’s tenure.""

""Palin cut state spending between 2007 and 2010 by 9.5% while also reducing federal earmark requests by more than 80% during her tenure. She used her line-item veto to cut more than a quarter billion in superfluous spending in both 2007 and 2008. In 2009, she instituted a temporary hiring freeze, while at the same time reducing spending by more than 33% between FY2009 and FY2010.""

""Long before state pension fund liabilities became a topic of national debate and crisis, Palin reformed Alaska’s pension program by ensuring a successful transition from defined benefits to a defined contribution program to address the $8 billion unfunded liability in the program, making it more solvent and leading to a decrease of 34.6% in state liabilities during her tenure.
In stark contrast to President Obama and other governors whose fiscal records are dogged by credit downgrades, Palin left Alaska with an improved credit rating during and following her tenure as governor. Standard & Poor’s raised Alaska’s credit rating from AA to AA+ in April 2008. Then in 2010, both Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s upgraded Alaska to AAA for the first time in the state’s history due to policies enacted by Palin that made the state’s finances more than solvent.""

Why would you try to round 32 months down to 24. . . ?

I wasn't "rounding down" in terms of months. To me, "a couple of years" can mean "two or three," which it was--more than two, less than three. I was conveying that she had only one incomplete term as a governor.

and why try to pretend that she doesn't have 20 years in politics and many years in elected offices, being first elected in 1992?

I wasn't "pretending" anything. To me, when you're talking about running for president, it is winning elections at the state and national levels that is most significant.

I vote for Judge Jeanine Pirro who has more gonads than the entire US Congress and the Regime.

Then she should have run for Senate from NY last time, like she was being wooed to do by some.

If she takes on Cuomo for Gov, that could be the start of a substantive political career for her -- and I think she'd win too.

FReegards!
