LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) A ban on the possession of large-capacity ammunition clips in the city of Los Angeles was one of two gun control measures the City Council approved Friday.
The proposed ordinance which was passed in an unanimous 11-0 vote would declare high-capacity ammo clips a public nuisance and allow Los Angeles police to confiscate those firearms.

Maybe they mean paper clips or hair clips. Yeah, ban those, everyone knows how dangerous those can be.
Friggin’ idiots indeed my friend!

This is liberal Democrat psychopath “show business.” They do things like this knowing it is unconstitutional but they aren’t playing to us. They’re entertaining the morons that vote for them. This is great fund raiser letter stuff as well.
Back in 1982....

“In 1982, gun-banners were successful in placing an initiative on the California ballot dubbed “Proposition 15,” which would have essentially banned handgun sales and mandated gun registration statewide. ...”
“Proposition 15 lost by a whopping 63 percent to 37 percent...”
To me, the rejection of Prop 15 means that all handguns, ammo, magazine sizes, operating systems (revolver and semi-auto) were now protected in the state.
Instead, the politicians have been working overtime to nibble away at gun rights, one item at a time.
I thought the same thing until I saw the text of the ordinance. It refers to boxes with springs inside of them as "weapons". I'm willing to cut the "journalist" some slack on this one.
Did they say anything about magazines?
Now, now... Be nice. They don't cover these confusing things in journalism school. They stick to the vital stuff, like how to use spell-check and which knob is for steam. And at any rate, it could have been worse.
Gun-grabbing Mexifornia Press-2-for-English Nanny State PING!
Thanks for the ping!
