Americans are eating too much sugar according to a new report from the CDC which analyzed dietary data from thousands of adults.
Federal nutrition policy recommends limiting sugars and solid fats to between five to 15-percent of our daily calorie intake. But between 2005 and 2010, Americans got 13-percent of their total calories from added sugar alone which contributes to obesity and displaces healthier foods with essential nutrients.
The report found adults in their 20's and 30's, men, African-Americans and those with lower incomes consumed the highest amount of added sugars.
Living will kill you sooner or later.
I agree with you. Water does not refresh me at all. It makes my stomach hurt and I’m still thirsty. I drink Pepsi Max. I just love that stuff.
Right, stay away from that stuff. It rusts your stomach.
Now that we've clarified that I would like to report that the Government is SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY.
Thank Gawd we are supporting the CDC with millions to figure this out. Tax dollars well-spent, to be sure.
