Female Lackland trainer gets jail sentence

A female Air Force instructor who had sex with a recruit was sentenced to three months in jail Thursday, but will remain in the service for now.
The judge, Col. Donald Eller Jr., also gave Staff Sgt. Emily Allen 30 days' hard labor and busted her to airman first class.

When I was stationed at Minot AFB in the mid - late 70's, our Squadron Commander, Maj. Gunkle, was caught in his office with a female A1C under his desk, and she wasn't picking up paper clips.
The A1C was stripped of a rank, and, if memory serves, discharged from the Air Force. Maj. Gunkle? He was promoted and moved to his preferred base in Texas.

I know an Air Force colonel who managed a testing facility who got caught going at it with a female civilian subordinate on top of his desk and he was allowed to quietly retire. I don’t think there is any consistency.

“Allen pleaded guilty to having sex in 2011 with an airman in training at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss., seeking to have a liaison with a second airman she met in basic training and having unprofessional social relationships with a pair of female airmen.”

There is a lot of fraternization which goes on between officers and pretty enlisted women under their command. a lot
Its very unusual for the officer to suffer consequences.
