I know, considering there is an NRA Convention this weekend right? Seems a little fishy to me too
To: ConservativeMan55
Is fishy to me. Sometimes a suicide is just a suicide.

NWS (US Government Weather Service) has that Bush Intercontinental Airport is 72 degrees.
However, there is a north-west blowing at 15 mph.
It is 200 mph from Austin to Bush Intercontinental.

Some reports are that this guy fired the AR-15 into the air and then pulled out a pistol and shot himself with that.

A public suicide.. at an airport, with an AR-15, day before the NRA Convention.
Weird.
To: don-o
Oh and he was dressed like an elf according to some reports. lol..

Weird.
Guess what happened three months and twenty miles from Denver's NRA convention in 1999...
Columbine.
To: grobdriver
“I mean - how’d he even get INTO the terminal with an AR?”
In Texas, an AR-15 is a clothing accessory.

He parked and walked into the terminal. He was in line at security when it went down.
Likely he just had the rifle in a duffel bag...
He fired the rifle up twice, an air Marshall fired at him and missed, then he pulled a pistol and shot himself.

Wow I did NOT realize that!
To: topher
Yeah, we (Texas) got rid of the “needed killin’” defense in the mid-60s. Too bad, really...

I just joined the thread from the Ruah thread, so I’m trying to catch-up. Honest.
I’m missing too many facts here; something’s weird. Gotta do some article digging on this story.
