Twitchy reports that on Tuesday night, the left launched a Twitter game with the hashtag #SarahPalinFilms. Via a verified account, this was Netflix's voluntary contribution: -- #SarahPalinFilms "Iron Sky" nflx.it/11AZvLR twitter.com/netflix/status
Netflix US (@netflix) May 1, 2013 -- One review of "Iron Sky" describes the film this way:
The film tries to make the connection between the Nazis and the current state of American politics via a US President character that embodies the Sarah Palin brand of politics, but its done in bad taste and this is where the satire fails.

Oh yes. Theyd donate billions for her murder, if they could.
Theres a discussion forum on IMDB, where you can generally see who is leading the cheers.
:(
That saddens me greatly. Why is Sarah so hated when all she wants to do is good for people!? Pure Irrational Hate!
I haven't gotten on the IMDB Message Boards in Years, sounds like I haven't missed anything.
The Leftist in Norway really HATE Sarah that much?
I just can't wrap my head around that :(
Nope. US distribution (such as it was) was handled by a Canadian company, Entertainment One.
What's interesting about Iron Sky is that the filmmakers made a trailer, basically as a home movie, doing all the effects themselves. Then they sent the trailer around to festivals and things like comic book conventions, building an internet buzz that they were able to leverage into raising the money to finish the film.
She must really scare the crap out of the left and that’s in both parties.
I just “chatted” with a drone at Netflix. He said they were “not affiliated” with the company that produced the game.
I told him the quote that WAS was in print and sent him the link. He then told me it was false information and I should pay it no attention. (This of course, was after I told him I would not renew my membership, which has been cancelled for several months, and that I was going to tell my friends and relatives to cancel theirs.)
I told him I considered him uninformed, and closed the conversation. I’m waiting for a copy of the chat to arrive in my email.
If you need Netflix, you need a life!
Real people’s lives don’t revolve around foolish fiction.
It also disappeared because it was a load of garbage, even the mainstream media knew it, and anyone with a brain could see through the smear. The whole way it came from the psycho Palin-hating Trig Truther crowd who started peddling it, oh-so-coincidentally, after a YouTube video of one of Palin’s in-studio sports broadcasts where she mentioned a recent local tournament appearance by Glen Rice. And then, that loathsome cretin McGuinness, anxious to spread each and every ludicrous smear against Palin, phones Rice up and asks only three, very carefully calculted, very crafted questions, deliberately designed to ‘imply’ something happened between the two.
But you’re right, most people probably wouldn’t care even if it were true. Still bugs me, though, the sheer unethical scumbaggery of McGuinness.
Yea but look what it did for his book sales! He’s now up there with Steven King and Shakespere!
oh wait...he’s not...
Oops...his bad.
Sounds to me like Netflix merely put that tag onto the film because the review mentioned Sarah Palin.
Netflix also has great conservative films streaming: “I Want Your Money”, and “The Undefeated”.
What about BlockBusters?

Real peoples lives dont revolve around foolish fiction.
in your opinion of course.
I mean settling down at night to watch a movie with the kids must mean I don’t have a life and you do.
ARF
I’m the opposite, we are thinking of getting rid of TV and keeping Netflix due to the crap we see on TV today and all the local channels are a waste of time filled with homosexuality, drugs, and left wing crap/
true Netflix also has many Christian , Jesus, movies and programs.
I never watch local channels and most crap on TV and watch Netflix now due to me being able to filter all the homosexual crap.
Got to the point I can’t even watch the weather and never watch local news due to their sly political digs
There are alot better things to do with your kids than watch a movie.
that is what we do sometimes and it might not suit you but it suits us.
That;s what is so great being a parent of young kids, we can decide on what to do and when to do it, you however I;m sure have young kids and spend your time doing something else.
That;s fine to
Actually, my ‘kids’ are probably about your age.
Their kids range in age from 3 to 15.
I’m just saying that what comes in through movies is subtle but dangerous brain rot. If the kids accept it as reality, they won’t be of much use to their own kids when the time comes.
The life you have lived probably will not be available to them, and they’re going to have a bunch of thinking to do.
my life has been crap, fro foster homes, to the street, to serving and seeing legs and heads blown open and off.
You’re right I don’t want my life for my kids.
As for my kids watching a movie and thinking it’s real, then you do not know my kids LOL.
They’ve lived in different countries, seen different countries, doing all A’s , doing well in their sports and not fat or boring, or miserable
My kids are around your age
>> “ Even Jesus taught with fiction...” <<
.
You have a comprehension barrier.
“Jesus” never used fiction of any kind. His parables were all quite true; just that the names were witheld. (he knows the hearts of all)
You completely misunderstood my comment. Those whose lives revolve around drama and fiction will die without ever embracing reality. “Arrested development” is the polite clinical term.
