Everyone's life is full of fiction. Stories are how we relate to the world. Even 'true' stories such as historical bibliographer edited to the point of fiction. Fiction is how we teach things and how we learn about the world. Story telling is as old as the human race. We learn to read with fiction. We learn math with fiction (story problems). Even Jesus taught with fiction (parables). Even science uses fiction by formulating made up stories (theories) and then testing them against evidence (experimentation). Anyone that tries to live without any form of fiction is going to lead a pretty crappy life.
