Been getting our self-defense and firearm-selection advice from our esteemed vice president, have we? Or, would that be just our talking points? Via the Washington Examiner:
If you live in a city and you think you need protection of your home, youre way better off with a shotgun than an assault weapon, Clinton added. Trust me. Its not even close.
Groan. For the umpteenth time — yes, a shotgun is a very solid choice for in-home self-defense, but for goodness’ sake, stop trying to discount AR-15s and their ilk as an defense option because of your eagerness to discredit its possible uses and classify it as an “assualt” weapon. What a criminal can assault a law-abiding citizen with, a law-abiding citizen can just as easily deter and defend against criminals.
And what's with the barrel length restrictions - wouldn't shorter barrels be useful in some home defense situations?
If the federal government thinks shotguns are such a good idea why don't they reduce the regulations on them, and encourage the development and sale of shotguns which can be rapidly loaded and reloaded with multiple shell magazines?
He climbed a tree naked on Dickson Street in Fayetteville Arkansas back in 1969-70 during an anti-war demonstration.
I was in town that day, and if I could have seen the future, I would have gone down there and knocked him out of the tree with a rock.
Maybe he’s right. At least you can still buy ammo for shotguns.
The Lip Biter saying “Trust Me” is cause enough grab hold of your wallet and lock up your womenfolk.
Do Bill and Hil have separate bodycounts? as a duo uhh couple, they have few contenders..
When Clinton lived in Washington DC, and thought he needed the protection of the Secret Service in the White House, were they mostly armed with shotguns? Or with carbines and pistols?
And has the Secret Service taken his advice to heart, and is that what they are using to protect him today?
Not that knowing anything for real has stopped a democrat from running their mouth about things.........
WTF does this draft dodging puke know about shotguns and “assault rifles”.

Hiccup!
Thanks Bubba. I have found that I can always trust weapons advice from serial rapist democrats.
Just don’t see a lot of SWAT teams or the Chicago Black Militia with single or double barrel single shot shotguns...just thinking if the real Pros need an AR15 (aka as an AK-47) I think I’ll stick with a winner.
OK, well, the shotgun is for protecting the house. The assault
rifle is for the protection of life and property from the goons
sent by a tyranical government run amuck. Read Madison’s
Federalist #46, Clinton, and then read the Second Amend-
ment. Amazing that the Founders figured out that sooner
or later the Clintons, Pelosis, Obamas, and Feinsteins would
show up.
“...THEN it is true that a shotgun (provided it is a weaponized one with a 18 barrel and pump or semi-auto) IS the BEST choice...”
Mine is a pistol grip 12 ga with a laser and bright light on it, loaded alternately with 00 & slugs. I also have a semi-auto 45 w13 rd clips and a rifle w/30 rd clips that I can fire nearly as fast as if it were ‘selectable’.
Anyone want to come and take your chances? Bring your shotgun, Willie Jeff...ya sure ya know which is the business end?
Which is why your SS detail carries only shotguns, eh, Bill?
Piss off ya statist.
Well in a way, a six foot wide pattern of double-ought will definitely ruin someone’s day. The thing I don’t like is some government weeny like Bill Clinton who most likely has never fired a gun telling us what we need or want for home defense.
Willie Jeff, the Rapist-in-Chief, never got the training to know the difference between ‘this is my rifle, this is my gun’...
Teflon-coated slugs?
