He’s worse than Brown as far I can tell from his website. I’d take Brown over him in a heartbeat, the only major difference is Brown could have won.

Bad choice MA primary voters.

>>>>>>”Gabriel Gomez is the kind of results-oriented leader who will bring a never say die attitude and spirit of service to the Senate on behalf of the Bay State,” National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Jerry Moran of Kansas said in a statement.<<<<<<<<<

Jerry missed his true calling as a used car salesman.

I’m surprised Gomez won the GOP primary, he had little funding and the heavily backed preferred candidate of the Republican establishment was former acting ATF director and former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan. Still, I imagine it’s not as embarrassing as the recent special election in IL-2 when the GOP establishment candidate falsely promoted as the “lone Republican candidate” for Jesse Jackson Jr’s vacant seat (Lenny McAllister) came in a very distant third in the GOP primary.

Looking at the numbers from the primary, I think Gomez is DOA in the general election, and not much of a Republican anyway. He’s pretty much a worthless RINO turd that talks out of both sides of his mouth.

If I was living in Mass. I’d probably still vote for him if he had a snowball’s chance in hell of beating Markley and was polling competitively, but as things stand I would recommending casting a protest vote for Jack E. Robinson (Ted Kennedy’s former GOP opponent who is apparently now running as an Independent)

did Brown assess that he couldn’t beat Markey cuz Markey is not fruit loopie like Martha? Plus the surprise factor is gone.

Gomez beat the liberal GOPer, Sullivan. 55 to 30 to 15 for Winslow (the more conservative)

I cannot confirm those numbers.
