So, Rush thinks Rubio is too new to Congress to fully understand how ruthless Dems are.

Or, as I would put it, he hasn't been kicked in the balls by the Democrats enough yet to know better.

Marco Rubio does not support making it mandatory to cross check voter registration roles and make people who have committed felony vote fraud to help elect democrats ineligible for the amnesty process.

Rubio isn’t naive. He understands who he’s doing this for, who’s funding it, or he’s the dullest tool in the shed. Rush is #2. What has Rubio done to deserve all this ‘benefit of the doubt’ stuff?

WHO is Americans for a Conservative Direction? (Hint—It AIN’T conservatives!)

Nonsense. Rush sounds like Ann Coulter when she was telling us that Mitt Romney was the best conservative ever.

I don’t think Rush is dumb. So, evidently, he’s willing to put aside all of his principles for some dumb, corrupt reason I can’t even begin to understand.

I really like Rush, but he has his limits. Unwillingness to talk about Obama’s forged birth certificate is another obvious one.

Part agree with Rush...part do not...on this one

Rubio has been Speaker of the Florida House....which is about as corrupt and incompentent as the US Congress. He is not that naive

Also...Rubio has always supported Illegal Alien Amnesty....when Speaker of FL House he killed numerous bills that would have given FL laws like Arizona, Georgia, and Alabama

Where Rubio is naive...is that he thinks he is not being made the fool and fall guy when Amnesty fails

Rubio is no Reagan —he will “grow in office”. We all know what THAT means.

Rush is almost smitten with him, and he is GOING to be disappointed by Rubio in a very major way.

Rubio is Bob Dole with a chilli pepper.

I listened to this today. I think that Rush's relationship with Rubio is kind of like that of a father with a VERY promising son who begins hanging with the wrong crowd and starts to pick up some very bad habits, attitudes and beliefs.

Rush wants desperately to believe that this Amnesty thing with Rubio is just a “ploy” that Rubio is undertaking and that Rubio doesn't really want the gang of 8’s plan to become law.

My belief is that, like that father of the promising son, Rush's eyes, FOR THE TIME BEING, are blinded to seeing the truth of what Rubio is. I'm not blind and I see Rubio for what he is—and I am bitterly disappointed in him. I see him trying to hustle the decent conservative folks such as Rush with his lies and his sweet talk.

Rubio, like the biggest shit-storm you can imagine, this creation of yours is all going to come flying back to haunt you and be your undoing. You've become trapped by your Gang of Eight Amnesty ploy like a fly caught by flypaper—struggle all you want, but you've become trapped by your own creation. Enjoy your time in bed with Schumer and Graham and McCain; you all deserve one another.

To me Rubio was always a phony therefore a non-starter.

And now, Rush is dead to me.

Am I the only one who remembers that before his first election Rush told us what a true consrvative GW Bush was ...how did that turn out?..

Rush has, in the past, had great political instincts.

But this Rubio stuff from him is a huge load of parsed crapolla. I’m embarrassed to hear Rush uttering such convoluted nonsense.

Rubio is now and will be in the future another lying, two faced, RINO sellout who will screw the hell out of *Americans* to assist ILLEGAL ALIENS in taking over this country. Got that Marco? They are not undocumented anything. They are criminals, illegal aliens. Nothing more.

“Rubio is my friend.”

With those words Rush showed he is just like the rest of the elites.
Being part of their club trumps all principles. That is why the Senate is such a corrupt and dangerous place.

It’s like all those people who were friends of Hitler, and thus could overlook all the faults and corruption that was going on around them just to maintain their friendship.

Rubio looks naive, but is he as tough as his original backers proclaimed?

BS, Rush. Look up Rubio’s record as the Florida Leader of the House. Look it up! He isn’t doing what is best for this nation and I really resent your pandering to him. Expose him for what he is or your credibility will take a serious hit.

Rubio is the voluntary and willing tool, being used by the usual amnesty/open borders suspects to hoodwink the American public into thinking that this Gang of 8 bill isn’t amnesty, and that it actually contains tough border enforcement requirements.

Everything Rubio is doing on this issue is deceitful and dishonest. Both Rush and Levin have said what a fabulous guy Rubio is, and how they’ve had many private conversations with him. And, of course, Hannity has been groveling and worshiping at Rubio’s feet since he first became known nationally.

Rush and Levin are hurting themselves in the eyes of many by pretending Rubio’s deceit and dishonestly is just a garden variety difference on an issue, nothing unusual.

I don’t buy this whole “he means well but is just misguided” line. Rubio and other supporters of amnesty know exactly what they’re doing and why. There’s no sense looking for angels that just aren’t there.

First, folks, you know that Rubio is and has been a politician for years (Conservative as he has previously demonstrated). Second, you know that a politician does not do things or vote for things that gets him into hot water with his constituents. That leaves open the idea that maybe he is being disingenuous with his immigration plans.

Is it time for him to forgo his early Tea Party ideas and for us to actually look at what he is proposing now? There is a very big difference in these policies. Therefore, do we not consider him a traitor or just another politician seeking universal recognition and glorification by the media?

This is the remaining question and it is not totally clear yet, but becoming clearer by every speech he makes.

I intend to stay tuned and listen carefully though as he is fast losing my faith in his ideals!
