They don't rinse either. I have to run the washer through the cycle 3 times or else I get a rash from residual detergent. Yes, I know they have detergents specifically made for these washers, but they all have perfumes and dyes. Again...rash.

So much for energy and water saving.

I know what you mean - there are significant deposits of soap lining the sides of the washer after every load.

I use All hypoallegenic, an I get it from Sam’s. You might give it a try. Also, I have a recipe using Borax, washing soda and soap that I want to try...you get the ingredients at Vermont’s Country Store or Mast General Store.
