USBC News Wire. Sacramento, California- A California Democratic Party politician, Bob Wieckowski, is pushing a controversial bill which would allow non-citizens to judge American citizens by serving on juries in California.
The bill, which is likely to be struck down by courts as unconstitutional, has already passed the California assembly 45-25 supported by the Democratic Party and liberal Republicans. The bill will now move on to the California Senate.

Good thing for Obama they didn’t try to pass this when he was a student at Occidental College, or he might have had to serve on a jury.
That’s one way for illegals to get a jury of their criminal peers.
Auto-damn-matically a mistrial. In the US, non-citizens are NOT any citizen’s peers.

In Kali they also use DMV records for jury call up records. You need to keep the summons that shows you were called in the previous year so as to stop a visit from the “system”. Its easy to get off the jury in SF. Just profess a belief in capital punishment and carry your own Bible if you are called up in the Voire Dire process. You usually get bounced out of the jury pool then you are free to go.

She wasn’t getting paid from her employer for jury duty and was already working two jobs trying to make ends meet.
It was the final act of disobedience.

I believe that's the first time I've ever seen that phrase in a news article. 'Course, we use it all the time here, but I just think it's interesting that someone in the media has taken notice too.
