We ended up with a good turnout for today's recall effort. There were canvassing teams out and we staked out a busy intersection by the Citadel Mall. Lots of good feedback from motorists responding to our signs and many others stopping to get their names on the petition to recall Sen. Morse. We even had some thumbs up from Colorado Springs Police that were driving by as well as Sheriff's Deputies. It was a good day and it ended with Fox News-21 stopping by. The story should be on at 9:00 PM MST. They will also be posting a video on their web site. I will add a direct link once it shows up online.
“Need 10,000 verified signatures.
Means we cant stop before reaching 12,000, because some get tossed or challenged.
Southwest is very sparsely populated area of the state.”
Thanks for info. Used to live in Colorado. Good luck.
It’s not up on Fox yet. Not for a couple more hours. I wanted to post it so that those in the area could catch it on TV. I will ping you with a link once they have it on their website.
Thanks.
Good luck.
Morse is in Colorado Springs with a population of over 400,000. Not all in his district, of course. McLachlan is in the Durango area in the Southwest. I am not sure how they are doing. Good, I hope.
I know there are FReepers that aren’t fond of FB, but here’s the FB link to the John Morse recall. “Like” it if so inclined and stay informed:

I think things are moving along well. Larry Pratt of GOA was in Durango last week helping raise money for the McLachlan recall.

Great work! I wish I could be there but just can’t do it for now.
Here is a lint to the recall Morse Webpage too. http://gotremorse.com/home/
I heard that they had a very nice turn out for that. Of course the Dems are giving the restaurant owner grief for having the dinner there.
Stay safe, Stay well, and keep up the great work you are doing!! This will send a message to the gun grabbers, the American people are not playing around this time! The war is on, and while the gun grabbers may have won the first battle, the war is far from over!
We need to take this battle to every State in the United States!
I understand. Well, if you can, send any one of the recall groups a few bucks to help with signs and such. Everything helps.
Great to hear that the Western Slope is keeping at it too!!
I do hope that we can pick off at least a couple of them with the five recalls in the works right now. I also like to think that maybe, just maybe, through these recalls, we helped to make a couple Senators in Washington blink too. None of them want this sort of thing. Other States will be watching too.

It backfired on them because people who had never eaten there started eating there. LOL
I love it!!! :)
The breakfasts there seemed to be real popular from what I was reading in the paper’s comment section after the article. Kind of made my mouth water.
Yes, they have good food.
The Durango Herald is a real liberal rag. We give them grief, too. LOL
