We ended up with a good turnout for today's recall effort. There were canvassing teams out and we staked out a busy intersection by the Citadel Mall. Lots of good feedback from motorists responding to our signs and many others stopping to get their names on the petition to recall Sen. Morse. We even had some thumbs up from Colorado Springs Police that were driving by as well as Sheriff's Deputies. It was a good day and it ended with Fox News-21 stopping by. The story should be on at 9:00 PM MST. They will also be posting a video on their web site. I will add a direct link once it shows up online.

Thanks CO Doug. Scout show up here in Denver today so I couldn’t make it down. If you care to, send a private mail and let me know how things are going.
To: Colorado Doug
I presume Colorado provides for recall.
How many signatures needed, obtained thus far, when is election, etc.
To: Colorado Doug
Thanks, Colorado Doug. Good job!!

I’m up in Teller County. Too bad as I’d like a piece of his ass.
I don’t mean that in any homoerotic sense. I mean...not like like I’d actually want any part of Morse’s wormy butt...I mean...damn! better stop now.

I’m sorry. I thought it was a news report. I didn’t see it was your direct post. Sounds like a good turnout. From the e-mail I received from one of the volunteers it didn’t sound like she had received much response so I was a little worried. What’s going on tomorrow?
To: FlingWingFlyer
I know that we have at least one other FReeper working on this too but I won't out her.
I imagine that she will pop onto the thread in due time.

Yes, it did look pretty bad for turnout a couple days ago but by today, it had turned around and all bases were covered.

Thank you for the update. This is very encouraging to hear. I haven’t been down since the one weekend three weeks ago. I was hoping to make it down today, but it didn’t work out. If there are things going on tomorrow too, maybe you can send FR-mail and let me know. Thanks so much for this report. If you get video/article on Fox, please post. :)

You can get you some if you like. Volunteers don’t have to live in his district. You can’t sign the petition yourself but you can get a hundred others to sign instead. That’s a fair trade. :)

Okay, I can give a hint who the other FReeper is. Her name starts with “B” and rhymes with EversTom. :)

LOL. Doug, you deserve a lot of kudos for staying on top of this and letting us know. This inspires me to do more. Thank the others down there that are working so hard on this.

Need 10,000 verified signatures.
Means we can’t stop before reaching 12,000, because some get tossed or challenged.
Southwest is very sparsely populated area of the state.
