Megyn Kelly reported Friday that the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks had to be detonated via a ‘line of sight’ trigger mechanism. According to federal officials this could mean there was a 3rd bomber or accomplice who may have been involved in the attacks. The range of remote control parts is within at least 250 yards or less. The remote control parts are also NOT a part of Al Qaeda’s Inspire magazine instructions.
Federal investigators now believe a third terrorist could have been involved in the attacks.

That has been an issue with me ever since I began posting on FRee Republic in 2004 - that blogging has been discouraged by a vocal group of FReepers.
It should be encouraged and supported.
I will say that they do have a point with the ‘pimping’ aspect, but by and large I totally agree with you.
When posting CNS articles is considered pimping, that’s overboard.
People forget it was a ‘citizen journo/blogger type that took down Dan Rather, not the ‘established’ right wing media. Or that Drudge was not establishment when he nailed Clinton to a wall.

I think the boys might have had a blue tooth or something more discreet. I can almost hear someone saying. "Okay..turn into Fairfield and go to "X"...Your brother is 30 paces behind you."

These messages may be via little radios like I use for work and not phones tied to satellites. I carry mine in my breast pocket and can hear just fine. And they have no memory aka no squeeling on the participants.

FReepers knew constructing the detonator had to be trained elsewhere in terrorist camps right away.
The officials kept leaking out bits of disinformation, simply digusting.

I heard on the radio yesterday afternoon that they now think (or were told) that laptops were used to set off the bombs and the FBI was searching for them at the landfill.
This is the 1st I’ve heard any mention of laptops. A day or 2 ago, FNC mentioned and showed pictures of FBI agents (IIRC they said about 30) searching a landfill for evidence, but there was no mention of laptops and it looked like they were going through smaller pieces of rubbish.
Do you think it’s feasible that laptops might have been used to detonate the bombs?
Has anyone else heard anything about laptops (I try to get through as many FR articles as I can on this, but may have missed a few)?

How is this a big surpise to anyone. Obvioulsy he wasn’t smoking a cigarette or playing with matches. Just how the hell did he escape with all HIS feet, legs and hands? Splain dat fo me.
The Obama Administration has assured me that this was not a conspiracy, and that this was not connected to Islam. It was simply bad luck that three or more (coincidentally all Muslim) lone wolf terrorists who enjoyed explosives and slow cooking happened to target the Boston Marathon at the same instant. If it’s a good enough explanation for Obama and MSNBC, I’m willing to believe it too.

That was kind of my first thought. A newly found “third terrorist” to hide the real third terrorist.
A timer would overcome the problem of getting the radio signal through the steel pressure cooker.
