Breaking: Federal Investigators Now Believe a Third Terrorist May Have Been Involved in Boston

Megyn Kelly reported Friday that the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks had to be detonated via a ‘line of sight’ trigger mechanism. According to federal officials this could mean there was a 3rd bomber or accomplice who may have been involved in the attacks. The range of remote control parts is within at least 250 yards or less. The remote control parts are also NOT a part of Al Qaeda’s Inspire magazine instructions.

Federal investigators now believe a third terrorist could have been involved in the attacks.

Think about it ? yeah I know a weird conspiracy theory but sometimes fiction is truer than real life.
They could not find that other guy for a whole month searching and out of nowhere ? after these other guys: one get's to go home without being questioned, and the other 2 captured, and one dead, they find this one guy in the river ?

The hobby-grade R/C helicopters (from which I believe the receiver originated) typically are bundled with low power radios (under 10 Mw), but a higher power transmitter of 100 Mw or even more can easily be substituted. Range is often quoted at 2.7 miles for the 100 Mw (real, usable range in the clear), so a few city blocks are going to be no problem.

Not exactly correct. If it was 2.4GHz, or higher, it would more than likely have to be LOS.

I have a $20 5.8ghz DECT 6.0 cordless phone made by Uniden. Works fine all over the house. Absolutely clear and noise-free. Far better than what one could buy in the 80's and 90's for much more money.

And I don't have to be able to "see" the base station to use it. So, in that sense at least, it's definitely not LOS. Of course, if by LOS, you mean it can't use ionospheric skip or tropospheric scatter, then you'd be right. But those modes are irrelevant to the case at hand, regardless of frequency.

The more modern remote controls use digital technology to encode their signals, much as the DECT phone does. That greatly improves reliability and makes work accidents due to random interference much less likely.

This past Wednesday, 4/23/2013, there was an emergency drill staged in Cleveland, Ohio. They were very careful to emphasize that this was a drill.

These types of drills go on all the time.

People attending the Boston Marathon were informed that a drill was going on and not to be startled or panicked by large noises.

I suspect Abdulrahman Al-harbi’s presence was unplanned and his arrest and detention started the incredible events that followed his release. By that I mean the suspicion of this being a terrorist bombing had to be transferred to others.

White House visitor logs indicate that Al-harbi had been an overnight guest there more than a half-dozen times. I suspect this is what the White House feared and wanted to divert; attention to the Obama’s having entertained an Al-Qaida-related terrorist who has nearly a dozen Al-harbi relatives at Gitmo and is related to the House of Saud.

Many mothers are like that in the ME countries......Remember all the drama from the Palestinian woman?....and they are ‘never’ guiltless from the influences they have on their families...do not underestimate the clout of these woman when it comes to the matter of adhereing to Islam in their families...they have a powerful voice in those matters....most of the teachers are woman...and we’ve seen them arming kids and strapping them with bombs.

You can also understand why they hide behind the woman and children....they have no sense of the value of life...they do worship death.

Plus the receiver/transmitter is on the ground. And they likely used a very low cost radio system.

Today's dirt cheap radios are far superior to yesteryear's hi-tech expensive government-issue radios. A lot of work has gone into making them small, cheap, and reliable. They use advanced forms of modulation that require computer technology to encode and decode.

One issue that has been mentioned on other threads is the fact that a pressure cooker is a Faraday cage. Now that I think about it, I bet they placed the remote control electronics outside the cooker but inside the back-pack and ran only one wire through a small hole drilled in the cooker (the cooker could serve as the other wire). The actual detonator was probably a carefully busted Christmas tree light, as recommended by the AQ Chef.

There is supposedly a ‘crashed UFO’ drill scheduled for Moscow Idaho either this weekend or end of next week. I think it is in April so must be this weekend or first of the week. Yes, it is a government drill!

Well about all we can do is follow the leads...in reality there’s the fact we don’t have all the facts.

I sometimes think the news agencies and the administration throws all this stuff out there just to kkepus accupied while the authoorities get to the bottom of things...if they can send the reporters and journalist chasing their tails...we generally follow them as our only access to info unless we dig deep or know someone familiar with.

That has always struck me as ODD! Why would they hold a drill the same day as the marathon --- one of Boston's biggest days when people from all over the US and other countries would be there.

I have only seen one report on this (from the Alabama coach) but I found him to be very credible.

We really don't have enough proof to know that he was ever at the WH even once. There has been a lot of misleading articles about this WH log.

Only one Alharbi of the 7 Alharbi's on the list has the name AbdulRahman A. Alharbi. In 2009 that Alharbi visited the WH in a group of more than 100 that was listed as a tour [IIRC].

The list is suspicious, IMO, but it needs more investigation to prove anything.

The Parents have their house listed now....and were given Islamic names they went by from the Muslim family. So it would appear they were certainly comfortable with their daughters involvement with the family to allow themsleves to be called these names.
