Bingo. This is a German Reichstag fire scenario gone awry, and the principal suspects are just being spirited away beyond reach before a thorough inquiry may be made. The placing of the person of interest, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, under arrest and giving him his Miranda rights, ended any inquiry in that direction. The Saudi suspect is also in hiding somewhere, preparatory to being slipped out of the country and back into Saudi “custody”, which means the FBI shall NEVER question him. The older Brother Tsarnaev, of course is silenced by death, probably in part because he was run over by his younger brother while fleeing.

This is much worse than Watergate, or even Benghazi. The Current Regime is in overdrive and overload, trying to “fix” the history of events, and if the wheels come off this, they are in so much trouble.

Bodies hanging on lamp posts is a dreadful sight to behold, but it may come to that. The question is, whose bodies, and in what venue?

So many were shooting that police did not know they were close to shooting at each oither, something that happens in war.Remember that the police just had exploding bomb(s) hurled at them, one as large as one of the bombs they employed on Boylston street.The top of opne pressure cooker bomb was found embedded in a car, and when something xplodes like that, peoples ears are ringing like bells and
adrenalin is pumping high.

The police cannot be fauklted for that either, but if you watch video of the situation , you will hear a Boston accents yelling over a bull horn, “ Hold your fiyah!”
Then the send the armored vehicle in and later suspect #2 got out of the boat on his own. unassisted with one leg over the gunnel of the boat.OPne can see photos of the suspect being treated for his neck wound right after he was cuffed, pouring on what appears to be sulfa drugs from a police wound pack, as he lay on his back with his cuffed hands under him.

In all liklihood he received the would from a richochet while he was in the boat or driving his vehicle through police.It had to be an oozing wound or he never would have survived..

We also must remember that the news now is that the perps only had a single Ruger semi auto handgun between them, from which the serial number had been excised.

But they had explosives and used them. No wonder police were confused a bit.Do people not think that understandable?
They had to assume he would be throwing more bombs, in a heavily populated neighborhood.Imagine what would have happenend if a bomb had been thrown and hit a residential propane tank? The police were quite right in their concern IMHO.

While it is very hard to sort out all the conflicting stories, photographs from multiple sources, including non LEO sources, indicate that there was very little fire directed at the boat. Some flash bang grenades, some low impact rounds, and maybe a small number of normal rounds.

Photos from, for example the Daily Mail in the UK show no bullet damage to the plastic cover of the engine, no exit holes on the side of the boat next to the terrorist, and very few holes in the boat at all. In closer photographs some of the marks on the boat appear to be from low impact rounds, which may not have even penetrated the fiberglass.

It is hard to explain the contradictions of the various reports, and it would be a truly embarrassing situation for the LEOs involved if they had two shootouts, but only one where anybody was shooting back. Even in the first instance, police reports described an intense battle. But how intense is a firefight against one guy with a pistol?

And what kind of training led the LEOs on the scene to need to fire hundreds of shots against one guy with pistol?

And of course I doubt anyone involved is in a hurry to explain why a massive mobilization of hundreds of LEOs, SWAT teams from miles away, and even military units couldn't find one wounded, unarmed teenager who was laying in a boat a couple of blocks away from where he was last seen.

He used an L shape pop tart. Which he then ate, so the cops didn't find it.

In defense of the LEOs involved here, I suspect that the rounds fired here were intended to roust him from boat. It looks like most of the bulletholes were in the back of the boat -- not where he was huddled in the middle as the police were aware of from the thermal imaging video. I doubt that any of the wounds he suffered came from this final assault. If they had wanted to shoot him he was a sitting duck as they had an easy bead on him and could have done it with one shot.

Maybe frangible rounds were used as SWAT teams are want to do in populated areas and on aircraft.

IMHO suspect #2s life was spared because he hid behind the engine block. At the very least the inside of the boat was sprayed with shrapnel from frangible rounds and the lower legs of the supect were wounded.

See the bullet holes, which are frayed on the edges when fiberglass is penetrated, the bullets did not bounce off, they entered the hull:

I have no criticism of the police. They did not know how many perps there were altogether, and did not know if the suspect was carrying explosives ( which had been deployed just minutes before) or what firearms he had; so much so that they sent in an armoured vehicle to lift off the tarp with a remote arm.

My criticism is of the FBI and the shroud of secrecy that descended once the perp was in custody. The Keystone Cops could have done better.

Clearly federal law enforcement has become part of the ongoing Obama political campaign.The FBI management is now in the hands of Obama campaign political aparatchuks. The new immigration reform bill gives admittance decisions solely into the hands of Napolitano, so that the Muslim elites and their clerics can come into America with a free pass and no security review, all in secret.

We are clearly in for a very rough ride up to Nov. 2014 and into Nov 2016.Obnma means to destroy America, and this incident gave us all a foretaste of what is to come.Next will come the created crisis where death to Americans will occur. The sequester Air Traffic Controller furloughs are just a beginning, and even now we may have aircraft crashes occur before that is over, or we may later be made vulnerable to aircraft high jackings and the incursion of enemy aircraft into our air space to bomb us.( There would be a presidential shrug and a response that Congress did not do as he had told them....."What does it matter," if a few die?)

I have absolutely no sympathy for the little dirtbag Dzokhar but consider this ... by the ROEs in Afghanistan if our troops let loose over 200 rounds at some Afghani, terrorist or not, who turned out to be unarmed and never fired a shot at them they would all be court martialed.

Agreed. But I doubt the ammo used in Watertown was military, it was likely frangible ammo for use within populated neighborhoods.
