Run!? Yes, start in Miami and run east until you see Prescott Bush.

No more presidential dynasties!

Look, there’s only 350,000,000 people in the U.S.

It has to be another Bush!

We have no choice!

Saw this yesterday, so I have no idea why its breaking news.

The way to address this is to not vote for him.

No big deal.

Whereas I am going to support Palin or other like candidates more than moderate Republicans, I see no reason to hate most of them and take any time, energy, effort or emotional capital in vilifying or the like.

We become a bit too nihilist if we focus too much on shortcomings of other people.

I watched about 10 minutes of that show once.

It was like being injected with drugs that make ya stupid.

I found my mouth hanging open, without a thought in my head while gawking at the TV.

A very scary experience.

I’ve been a long time poster here and one thing I’ve had drilled into my brain is that there are some really bright minds on FR but also some really delusional ones as well. I want the “brilliant ones” to put their esteemed choices out there and let’s pick those chicken bones to the quick and see who survives. I swear to God a lot of these self annointed patriots would find George Washington. Thomas Jefferson & Ben Franklin lacking the standards that these self righteous SOBs hold so dear.

I will not vote for him. I don’t care who is running against him.

If he runs, the Bush family and their cronies will have the deepest pockets, the best-run political machine, and the most connections and air time. It's almost guaranteed that Jeb will be the GOP nominee if he runs in 2016.

Sickening but true, and if it boils down to Jeb vs. Hillary, it will be a good opportunity to either stay home or "throw away" my protest vote on some third party candidate yet again.

As far as most Floridians are concerned, he was okay as a manager, which is something the POTUS really needs in his cabinet, not just political apparatchiks.

For instance, imagine him selected as a “hatchet man”, to downgrade and eliminate entire agencies, like Education. He would both be doing the country a favor, and insuring that he would never be elected POTUS.

After Education is done, shift him to the next agency to downgrade and eliminate. Once it was known that he was an agency “angel of death”, as soon as he became head of a new agency, the rats would start deserting the sinking ship.

Jeb can run... but he can never hide the fact that he's a Bush.

NO MORE BUSH!

We have different blood in the White House now...playing havoc with our country.

I'm being careful the ‘Not another Bush” slogan isn't the Democrats pushing it...so not jumping on that wagon. Too many of our people jumped on their slogans not realizing the demo's were putting them out there.

Are we going to do the same thing we did in this last election and immediately screw every candidate? I won't be making that mistake again...will see who can unite the opposition to the democrates before I jump in or out. Right now we're leaderless...and I don't see anyone in the pipeline ...I could handle the Bushes bringing some stability to the country, which will be a wreak by the time Obama’s done.

We've just had a CEO darn near bankrupt our company...they fired him and brought back the former CEO who had maintained the company throughout the 08 financial dive. Immediately calm came to the employees, banks and vendors.

We may need just that from the Bushes...for 4 yrs, while they line up another “NEWBEE to take over.

First person who’s shown any interest and already we’re pouncing on him just like we did ‘every’ candidate before....

Someone has to have the ability to unite us to oppose the democrates.....and if Hillary runs for the Democrates no newbee will stand a chance.

We’re leaderless now.

It's not about slogans. It's facing facts, and realizing that on a whole host of issues, from immigration to economics to education, Jeb Bush (and his brother) may as well be Democrats.

It amazes me how many people see no problem at all with a political dynasties (and mediocre ones at that) while bewailing the decline of republicanism (lower case -r) and grassroots politics.

I’m looking ahead to where this country will be before Obamas done....and who will have the ability to bring the nation togehter and pick up the pieces.

I’m willing to wait and see who else will run...but I’m not going to knock anyone down who steps up to the plate.

Ok say you’re right...then who Rubio, Rand...?? Just who .

But here we are again slamming down candidates just like we did in the last election. This thread looks just like the ones from before.

Until someone has the markings of all you mentioned why not just wait and see who’ll step up?

Grassroots just lost this last time if you recall....who did they put up there that didn’t either get booted down or step back?.....Who’s got it to stand against the flood that will surely come?

We all know our side is leadersless..and it still is...
I’m not going to disqualify any until we see the slate.
