And now more support. Hopefully we see more rebellion on Leftists’ strangle hold on our young.
LLS
Let that be a lesson for parents. You are really taking a chance when you send your kids to public schools that have no compunction about having them falsely arrested.
Bingo. The State dropped a hammer on this kid by arresting him for a simple school dispute. Now the kid and his family must punch back 10 times as hard with a lawsuit against the cop and the school; human rights violations, abridgment of personal freedoms, false arrest, you name it. These statists must pay and learn to think twice before using the State as a weapon against the people.
“What do you tell the kids about dealing with authority figures who overstep their authority?”
I told my children, “Choose your battles wisely.” “Always learn the motivations of your opponent and also their prospective enemies. It is far better to rattle the hornets nest next to a person and walk away than to do direct battle with them. If they have an enemy bigger than you, wake that enemy up and consider becoming friends with that enemy.”
Thus when the high school teacher wrongly persecuted my son, my son became student representative on the school board and the teacher immediately changed his demeanor toward my son.
Rule number 2. Always accuse them of breaking their own rules and being hypocrites.
How do you know the teacher over stepped their authority?
You have a news article to base your entire opinion on, and we know the MSM is always accurate.
Does the school/district have a dress code that says that things like that may or may not be worn?
You don't know and are just jumping to conclusions.
Right! When you can't express an intelligent opinion resort tot he Nazi Logical fallacy. Godwins law.
I went to Catholic parochial school....we wore a uniform. the boys dark blue pants, light blue shirt, dark blue ties, dress shoes. The girls wore those catholic school skirt blouse combo things....
back in the 90 there was talk of making all students wear some sort of uniform.
I must agree for one reason....I would not want some leftist parent sending their kids in wearing Obama Hopey/changey shirts or one praising Che Guevara. shirts....
besides, it is good training for the real world for those who will have to wear business clothes daily
Then why wasn't the teacher and White not arrested?
A police officer arrested Jared after he was sent to the school office and again refused to remove the shirt.
Mr. White said Jared was arrested on two charges of disrupting the educational process and obstructing an officer ....
My parents taught me about those in authority, too — like if you get in trouble at school, you get in trouble at home. Of course this was in the late 30’s and 40’s. Life was very different then. The school would close for two weeks in the fall so we could help bring in the cotton crop. The schools had freedom then.
this is now, when the schools are run by blithering idiots (and the teachers are morons, too).
Actually some of us are quite intelligent and vote conservative. We are also capable of having intelligent discussions without jumping to conclusions or resorting to name calling.
When I was in college, we were required to keep an M-1 in our room. Unless you were a cadet officer, then you got to keep an M-1 and a sword.
Good job kid - learn to oppose the tyrants now while you're young! My daughter and I have some great conversations about government tyranny now that's she's read all 3 of the Hunger Games books.
What’s that sculpture? Link had “prague” in it; is that a Holocaust Victim Memorial in Europe? Never saw it before...
In the instant case, a student's dress code violation led to an *arrest*. If the hobnailed boot fits...
Still no mention of the teacher’s name who actually caused the fuss.
There was no problem throughout the whole morning until this one [liberal] teacher decided to raise a stink.
Yes.
A police state is a safe state.
My understanding of this was that there was no violation of the dress code (per the lawyer and the authorities at the school), and they had to admit such.
Obviously it wasn’t a violation of the dress code as dozens showed up in the same shirt later and were not required to change or go home.
Still no mention of the teacher who actually caused the problem. The student did not cause the disturbance, the teacher did.
You can get arrested for disrupting the educational process???
But what if they aren’t being educated but in reality indoctrinated?
Are there laws against that?
