Authorities believe neither brother had links to terror groups. However, two U.S. officials said Tuesday that Tamerlan Tsarnaev - who died last week in a gunbattle - frequently looked at extremist websites, including Inspire magazine, an English-language online publication produced by al-Qaida's Yemen affiliate. The magazine has endorsed lone-wolf terror attacks.

“Authorities believe neither brother had links to terror groups.”
So how did they learn how to make the bombs? Where were they getting their financial help from? Lots of questions to be asked but I don’t see the msm doing its job.
From your lips to God’s ears!
"As Boston buries its dead, the government buries the TRUTH"
Sure, one can find out how to build a bomb on the net. However, the challenge is to build a reliable device that can be carried(challenge to reliability) and deposited without killing the terrorist. Not that easy for a soccer player and a boxer. In fact, probably a full time job for an engineering student with electronics experience. And, who fabricated the circuit board? Who paid for the Mercedes/Porsche? Who paid the rent/educational expenses?
In my opinion, only a fool could believe this. I am so sick of being spoon fed this nonsense when we want answers.
There is no way these two could have done this alone.
So what was he doing for six months in Dagestan? Attending cooking school? That must be where he learned to use a pressure cooker.
What scares the S out of me is the potential of these weapons.
What if they were in checked airline luggage? That size bomb would destroy the hull of an airliner.
I doubt TSA would be looking for that profile on the off chance they were screening luggage. More likely, it would not even be screened.
Yes...a very scary thought.
Where did the older brother get the money to live in Russia for a few months? Why did Russian find his actions odd enough to warn us he might be a terrorist?
Re: extremist recruiter “Misha”
That guy needs to be found and thoroughly investigated! Just how far did his propaganda and jihad training go? Did he encourage or direct any kinds of violent activity, etc.
Btw, when the article said that Misha was large guy with reddish beard, I immediately thought of this guy whose photo had been discussed some when police were still seeking suspects:
I realize that the article describes Misha as bad (in 2009 or so), but nowadays men do sometimes shave their heads and later regrow the hair. Anyway it may be a long shot, but if anyone knows how to check whether this guy as been checked out fully, or how to find Misha, those are loose ends in this matter which should not e dropped.
Misha was described as BALD (maybe also bad) — I was typing too fast.
So, one of the made a trip back overseas to meet with no one in particular, and a foreign government had one of them on a watch list for no particular reason, knowing there were "no links?"
What kind of car did he drive? Didn’t I read it was a Mercedes Benz?
The FBI is more interested in shooting, arresting, harassing or otherwise attacking America's Veterans, Christians and Constitutionalists. Those unethical cowards would sooner arrest SGT Dakota Meyer before arresting Mullah Mohammed Omar.

Bingo.
