I may have misunderstood, didn’t GB mention something about entry to the US through Canada. Entrance from Canada can only be to Ohio and there is no serious checking of paperwork. Did GB imply that the Saudi entered through Canada and wondered how he ended up in Mass?

It's all gotten a little fuzzy and confusing. I just checked the Blaze to see what they were reporting yesterday. The 212-3B designation appears to be the designation the Saudi was given on the original unaltered deportation document. The Blaze says that 212-3B designation was given after the bombing. I see now that the visa application designation and the deportation designation are two separate things being discussed.

There's a link on the Blaze article that goes to the google cache of yesterday's Fox News report from Todd Starnes (that Fox subsequently scrubbed). Starnes reported that "A source close to the investigation revealed that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi had been deemed inadmissible under the section of the Immigration and Nationality Act which declares ineligible for a visa – any alien who is engaged in or is likely to engage after entry – in terrorist activity."

So, according to Fox News (before they pulled the article), the Saudi was ineligible for a visa due to possible terrorist involvement. That is apparently unrelated to the 212-3B deportation designation.

I think I remember Glenn saying yesterday that the Saudi was ineligible for a visa, was given one anyway, but that he was supposed to remain in Findlay, Ohio. It was after the bombing that the FBI discovered he had an apartment in Boston.

Maybe Glenn said more about all this today, including what you've mentioned about Canada. Maybe someone else who listens to his show can fill in some blanks.

"...Entrance from Canada can only be to Ohio and there is no serious checking of paperwork..."

Entrance from Canada is to Michigan (Detroit), which is about 55 miles North of Ohio, or Niagara Falls, NY, which is closer to Boston.

FWIW, there are many other crossover places in the Northeast, too.

GB did mention that the Saudi and others had come through Canada at one point or another ..................................................................................... FRegards
