Experts: Feds’ case vs. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has holes
BostonHerald.com ^ | 4/23/13 | Chris Cassidy

Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev is likely to avoid the death penalty, could entirely avoid a trial and in the hands of the right lawyer might win a modicum of mercy, argued top-ranked defense attorneys who have represented some of the nation’s most notorious terrorists and killers.

“We know he’s 19 years old, we don’t think he has a criminal record or been in trouble before. There are a lot of people out there that seem to have warm, positive things about him,” said Tamar Birckhead, whose client, Richard Reed, tried to blow an airliner out of the sky but got life by copping a plea. “To predict he’ll get a life sentence is not unreasonable.”

The Corruption at the DO"J" is long standing since Holder.

The Al-Qaeda Bar (Big Law Firms Line Up to Represent Terrorists)
”Some of the nation’s wealthiest and most powerful law firms have donated hundreds of
millions of dollars in free legal services to terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay prison.
Their work, bolstered by left-wing activists groups, has helped to free, or force the
transfer, of hundreds of al Qaeda suspects to third countries. Some have gone back to
terrorism and the job of trying to kill Americans.

The work of big American law firms on behalf of al Qaeda is drawing new attention since
Attorney General Eric Holder decided this month that Khalid Sheik Mohammed, who
orchestrated the murder of over 3,000 9-11, is coming to New York City for trial. Holder
was a partner at Covington & Burling, which in 2005 gave one its attorneys an award for
aiding 17 Yemeni suspects at Guantanamo.”

A list of 10 of the largest American legal firms representing Guantanamo terror detainees:
Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips
Shearman & Sterling
Allen & Overy
Convington & Burling
Dorsey & Whitney
Holland & Hart
Hunton & Williams
Paul, Weiss”

I would not have a problem with the Feds sending him to Florence for the next 60 years of his life spending 23-hours a day in his cell, isolated and alone, maybe given an hour to play with tennis ball if he behaves.

I just worry about someone being elected in 20 years who would commute his sentence.

If this were in Texas instead of Massachusetts, it wouldn’t much matter what the Feds did.

Perhaps. Yet...Justice awaits him. Where can he go? Where can he hide?

He has an appointment with Destiny and patience is very much a part of that game.

He is 19? He was “at war” with the US. He made his choices. He deserves punishment.

At 19 my father was packing an M1 in Germany an Belgium. He and a lot like him destroyed a great evil.

This little puke worked for the Great Evil. He will be punished.

What I want to know is why Moochelle visited Saudi Person-of-Interest #1 in the hospital.

Who is this guy? Who is he related to?

"“We know he’s 19 years old, we don’t think he has a criminal record or been in trouble before"

This is a beyond stupid statement. Why not just release him and see if he does it again?

Watch as the muslims & left uses this punk to poke their finger in this country's eye.

It would've been far better if they had turned this kid to paste last week. We could've moved on.

Yep, those inclined to engage in terrorist plots against us have seen ample evidence that they need not fear the death penalty. They can kill many others but it won’t happen to them.

He could always call on the name of Destiny and repent.

Very prophetic. Next stop, the White House. Should we start getting logos ready and t-shirt vendors lined up?

So, they cite four "experts":

(1) Birckhead, whose client will die in prison.

(2) Jones, whose client was executed.

(3) Fieger, whose client was sentenced to the maximum, but who was paroled after eight years not due to "holes" in the case against him, but due to leniency for an elderly man.

(4) Dershowitz, who says that Tsarnaev will die in prison.

The Obama/Holder administration do not want to find evidence of a wider Islamic conspiracy, especially one that leads to prominent Saudis. They will take over the case and bury it.
