Everyone knows about the terrible backlash against America Muslims after 9-11, so it's understandable for Muslims to be worried about a post-Boston bombing backlash, right?
What? There was no major backlash against Muslims in 2001 or thereafter? American Jews suffer far more religion-based attacks than Muslims every year? Then why did Andrea Mitchell today exclaim that Muslims were "understandably" very worried about a backlash?

In plain historical fact backlash toward members of an organized religion that has made systematic warfare on the West has been negligible to nonexistent, yet it remains the first resort of the liberal commentariat for one arrogant, condescending reason - they regard their countrymen as unprincipled savages and their moral inferiors.

Amazingly, after the photos of the two killers started showing up on every TV channel, no member of their family, their "community" their mosque, their relatives and friends, their university fellows, nobody called the authorities to say "HEY! I KNOW THOSE GUYS!"
