Anyone remember the TV show of that name back in the 60s? That Was the Week that Was

As I remember it it was pretty good.

Yes. I do remember it. It was inspired by a British show of the same name.

I remember :-) And we (my brother and I) refered to it as “TW3”

Pretty much everyone called it TW3. Hosted by David Frost. Great, creative show. Started following the assassination of JFK. I remember becoming very verklempt when it went off the air.

I do. I even remeber the theme song.

As I recall they incorporated highlights of the week’s events into the theme song. So it changed every week.

Actually Stewart owes his whole act to the folks who made TW3.

But the melody was the same. I remember “twtwtw, it’s over, let it go” Now that I think about it, I’m surprized my mom let me watch.
