What You Should Know About Chechnya as the Boston Story Unfolds
The Atlantic | April 19, 2013 | Thor Halvorssen

For centuries, the small Muslim country has been subject to a series of Russian occupations. Expect Vladimir Putin to use the marathon bombing to further rationalize Moscow's brutal rule.

Breaking reports indicate that the alleged perpetrators of the horrific Boston Marathon terrorist attack were born in Chechnya. This Russian-occupied, landlocked Muslim nation of 1.3 million is the center of a Russian war that has taken the lives of more than 200,000 people over the last two decades. It is also one of the world's most poorly understood conflict zones.

On social networking profiles, the Boston bombers reveal themselves as supporters of "Chechen independence." Given the media spotlight that will descend on the region in the next few days, it is absolutely essential to separate the country's three major political groups: Russia's puppet dictatorship, led by Ramzan Kadyrov; the radical Islamist rebellion led by Dokka Umarov; and the legitimate government of Chechnya, headed by the exiled Akhmed Zakayev.

Chechnya has been ripped apart by Russian aggression for centuries. Most notoriously, Stalin deported its entire population to Kazakhstan in 1944. One-fifth of them died in the forced relocation and were only allowed to return after the dictator's death. In 1991, when Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and other former Soviet states proclaimed their independence, so did Chechnya. Russia launched two devastating separatist wars since, the first between 1994 and 1996 and the second since 1999. Several Chechen presidents have been murdered by the Russian government, and in 2007 Zakayev was forced into exile. Moscow installed its autocratic puppet Kadyrov in his place. At the same time, Umarov's Islamist terrorist network proclaimed a "Caucasus Emirate" in Chechnya.

That’s nice. But if this had been about separatism, logically they’d have bombed Russia, not us. Especially as their parents actually visit Russia regularly and they’d have had access. No, this is about Islam.

“Stalin didn’t go far enough.”

Good to know you approve of a dictator murdering more people.

However, a dictator using an act of terrorism to justify more barbarism on his side of the world will continue a cycle of unrest, resentment, and murder.

So what does this have to do with the Jihadist Muslim terrorist brothers and the death, maiming and suffering they imposed upon the innocent citizens of Boston ?

Chechnya has been ripped apart by Russian aggression for centuries.

That's bullshit. Chechens are remnants of the Golden Horde and the Crimean Tartars and, along with albanians and palisavages, are one of the three worst groups of anything which the slammite world has to offer. Even their place names are mostly Mongolian words left over from the Golden Horde. These fools went for centuries riding into Russian cities and puting Slavic children into baskets and riding off with them to the slave markets. Nothing Russians could possibly do to them would be bad enough.

From what I understand, they weren't born in Chechnya, but in a neighboring state, Daghoristan. They're ethnic Chechens, but moved to America when they were young. Because they were raised in Leftist anti-Christian Massachusetts in broken homes, they received absolutely NO moral or values training. When people have a void like that in their hearts, they'll seek to find something to fill it...and the attempted to fill it, first with drugs and partying, then with radical Wahabist Islam.

However, they weren't real Chechen terrorists, just wannabes.

Good News, Comrade! Putin is also using this as an opportunity to "play in our backyard" as well.

How Vladimir Putin Could Help Boston
The Russian president offered to help in any way he could. Actually, he could do a lot of good.

President Obama thanks Putin for help in Boston

I'm sure this will meet with your approval, since you assert "Stalin didn't go far enough".

Okay, assume for a moment that the Russians really are the terrible oppressors of the Chechens the article says they are. Let's grant that the Chechens are pissed off and radicalized in their hatred of Putin.

My reaction is: So?

These 2 - or 12 - pukes attacked a bunch of innocents are a road race in Boston. What does that have to do with Russian oppression at all?

America has nothing to do with the events in Chechnya. Clearly the pukes weren't making bombs to blow up people in Boston in order to punish Putin.

The problem here isn't Russians. The problem here isn't an amateurish video about mohamhead. The problem is islam itself. The focus, the blame, the cause of this attack falls squarely on islam. Attacking and killing non-muslims is its raison d'etre. islam is doing what it was designed to do, just like the bubonic plague. If you fail to recognize that, you're going to die.

Excerpt:

In 2007, a young Bosnian Muslim named Sulejman Talovic–within six minutes–shot nine people in the Trolley Square mall in Salt Lake City, killing five people and seriously injuring four others, before being shot dead by officers.

As he was opening fire on victims, he shouted Allah is great, and the night before the massacre he told his girlfriend that “Something is going to happen tomorrow that you’ll never be able to forgive me about”, and that this day will be “the happiest day of his life and that it could only happen once in a lifetime.”

Before he came to America, Talovic is said to have seen a vision of a white horse “with two beautiful eyes”, symbolism which is most definitely Islamic related.

Muslims from the Balkans and the Caucasus are some of the most zealous and violent followers of Islam. After the Ottomans conquered them, they were the most loyal warriors for the cause of the Caliphate. They are bigger in stature, and tend to have more inclinations to brutality than their follow Muslims in the Middle East.

The Chechen jihad is amongst the most momentous of the Islamic world, and in the Syrian revolution a good amount of Chechens are fighting against the Assad regimen. One journalist gives this description of the austerity and reclusiveness of the Chechen jihadists in Syria:

// The Chechens were older, taller, stronger and wore hiking boots and combat trousers. They carried their weapons with confidence and distanced themselves from the rest, moving around in a tight-knit unit-within-a-unit. //

The Muslims of Eastern Europe are not quite like those of the Middle East, and Americans are going to have to start getting used to hearing of terrorists attacks coming from these very people.

or Occupy Wallstreet, or the mob, or dope, or islam, or all of that ~ these doufouses were most likely 'soldiers' ready and willing to work as psychopathic killers ~ and were available for all sorts of groups to hire.

Remember, the attack was carried out on Sacco and Vanezetti Day ~ literally the biggest holiday on the leftwingtard calendar!

The actions of Stalin, however horrific and heinous, do not justify the murder and maiming of men, women and children in Boston, or even Beslan. If that were the case, we would be having some REAL PROBLEMS with People of Ukrainian or Latvian descent.

No...there is but one common denominator to over 20,000 terror attacks since 9/11/01. These have been perpetrated around the world by Chechnyans, Saudis, Egyptians, Pakistanis, Indonesians, Libyans, Afghans, Iranians, Iraqis, Somalis, Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese, Arabs, Sudanese, Americans, Russians, Malaysians, Philippinos, Yemenites, Moroccans, Kuwaitis, American Army Officers, Gazans, and Canadians.

The Common Denominator is, Of Course, ISLAM.
