As Boston reeled, younger bombing suspect partied (Just a part of the terrorist cover-up)

As the world hunted him, the younger brother suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings acted like any other college sophomore.

Dzhokar Tsarnaev, 19, was on the campus of University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth every day after the attack until late Thursday, a university official told CNN. Tsarnaev attended classes and dorm parties while the rest of Boston came to a tense standstill.

A student at the school told The Boston Globe that she saw Tsarnaev at a party Wednesday night that was attended by some of his friends from intramural soccer.

"He was just relaxed," she said, asking the paper not to print her name.

Was he partying by himself? Then I guess Boston wasn’t in THAT much of a “tense standstill”.

Do you find it a little strange that a terrorist would wear something like a whit baseball cap that makes him stand out in a crowd and make it much easier to see or follow? I’ve done surveillance and ground tailing for years and that ball cap would be one of the things I’d be looking at if following in a crowd. Makes you wonder if it was worn with purpose.

Wishful liberal thinking:

Yahoo still calls them "suspects".

Yahoo headline:

"Which bombing suspect led the other?"

There are no such things as "suspects" in war,

only the enemy and us.

You assume more intelligence than existed.

Amazing how things have changed in the past decade. Almost everyone has a camera on them nowadays. Without photographs this bomber would still be partying.

What kind of man would explode a bomb next to a child?

And then go partying?

I realize the guys were young but I thought one had “training”. A white cap sticks out in a crowd. Willing to bet he wore it so his group could spot him in the crowd.

“Yahoo still calls them “suspects”.

Someone needs to tell Yahoo (and the rest of the lapdog media) that these jackasses for all intents and purposes confessed to the atrocity when they bragged about it to the ‘coexist’ joker whose car they hijacked.

The other interesting thing is the hubris of these clowns, and their detachment from reality - I truly believe they thought they’d pulled of the perfect crime (hence the partying at school).

Now anyone who follows FR was not surprised in the least when freepers started posting (almost immediately) publicly available pictures and began to look for suspicious items - like (mirabile dictu) big ole back-packs. Obviously law enforcement could do the same, with more resources. But these jamokes, it seems, figured that because nobody stopped them as the left the Back Bay, they were in the clear.

It still amazes me anyone could be so stupid as to remain the area after that sort of crime. I have little doubt that at least one of them had some training, but they sure weren’t pro’s - if they were, they could have made it to the Mexican border by the time they were id’d (and to the Canadian border, if they were willing to risk it by the evening of the crime).

Most of the friends I have seen interviewed seemed like typical brain-dead liberals, prattling on about diversity and how bewildered they are.

I think these two terrorists (and their cohorts) said many things WE would see as warning signs - anti-American, anti-freedom, pro-terror statements. But their statements meshed closely enough with the liberal orthodoxy in the media and academia that they were unremarkable.

If the 19 yo had raged about wanting to kill Bush for staging 9/11, his friends might just nod and agree, then talk about the latest music video.

Even if one of the friends had gotten a sense that the guy was dangerous, political correctness would have silenced him. (”yeah, it sounds like terrorism. But he’s a Muslim and I don’t want anyone to think that’s why I reported him, so i won’t.”)

The backwards white cap was a signal to members of the cell who were there witnessing the explosion so they could pick him out in the crowd, making sure no cop had nabbed him and that it was an all-safe signal fait accompli...

Doubt he ever wore that cap before the bombing. It was worn only on that day. IMO

Read somewhere the receipt for that cap was found (in his car?) Do we know what date was on that receipt?

Much like 9/11 when the muzzies were celebrating as the rest of America was in mourning. The FBI needs to be rounding up all his partying buds.

Larry Kudlow interviewed a counter-terrorism expert on his radio show yesterday, and the guy made two interesting points:

1. He speculated that these two stayed in the area to carry out additional attacks because it appears they had more bombs in their possession by the end of the week.

2. He was pretty sure these guys had no outside help and were not carrying this out as part of an orchestrated attack. His rationale was that outside "handlers" would never have allowed them to be apprehended like this. The "handlers" would surely have either included an escape plan, or set them up to die in the attack.
