Search For Why Begins In Boston Marathon Bombings

WATERTOWN, Mass. — With one suspect dead and the other captured, investigators on Saturday turned from the manhunt for those responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings to questions about their motivation and whether they had help.
The investigation turns on a seriously wounded teenager, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, found hiding Friday night in a boat parked behind a house here.
President Obama framed what comes next when he addressed the nation Friday night after police captured the 19-year-old.
“Obviously, there are still many unanswered questions,” he said. “Among them, why did young men who grew up and studied here as part of our communities and our country resort to such violence? How did they plan and carry out these attacks? And did they receive help?”
Investigators in Washington and elsewhere are gathering whatever information they can about the two brothers, according to senior law enforcement officials involved in the effort.

If the bombers were white natural born Americans, the media would be telling us why-conservatism, the NRA, talk radio and Sarah Palin. They have no trouble connecting the dots in that case, but the Islamic connection will perpetually elude them, just like the idea that the Ft. Hood shooting was Islamic terrorism. They will NEVER acknowledge this simple truth.
Somebody name another religion where its member go around threatening to kill unbelievers, oppress its women, and vows to bring the entire world under its yoke through violence if necessary.

I’m not on Facebook, but your post made me understand why so many FReepers want a ‘like’ button.
The mainstream media is not going to be able to avoid mentioning Islam in connection with this story.
However, I expect they will adopt the strategy of playing up the Chechen nationalism angle in order to overshadow talk of global jihad.
With the Chechen nationalism angle they can make the Chechens out to be victims, and maybe even find a way to work in a few shots at George W. Bush.
