According to her profile on the popular networking website Linked In, Karon Wright describes her professional aspirations this way:
Eager to bring students into the twenty-first century using a unique combination of education and counseling experience coupled with thirteen years of healthcare background in physical medicine and rehabilitative counseling.
Those publicly stated aspirations seem to be in direct conflict with a comment allegedly made by the school counselor a comment that has gotten her in some very hot water.
Ms. Wright was a counselor at Andrew Jackson Middle School in Grand Prairie ISD. That was until the district announced that she has been immediately relieved of all duties. The action was reportedly taken after an offensive remark written from her Facebook page (now removed from the web) was posted on WFAA-TVs Facebook page. The statement in question referenced to the tragedy in West, Texas.
WFAAs report states that the school district was quite clear in how they viewed the statement attributed to Ms. Wright, calling it highly offensive, insensitive to the tragedy happening to our friends and neighbors in West, and disrespectful to the very human bond that we share with the people of West, especially those who have lost their loved ones.
The school has also removed any reference to Karon Wright from their Staff section on the website.
“I was hacked!”
“It was a joke!”
“Freedom of Speech!”
But how can that be racist if it's directed against whites by a black person? According to Michael Eric Dyson, a noted commentator on race relations, "racism presupposes an ability to control a significant segment of the population economically, socially and politically by imposing law, covenant and restriction on their lives. Black people ain't had no capacity to do that."
She is/was a public employee. Big difference there. If a private sector employee made such remarks and the private sector employer chose to weather the PR storm, that’s their business. Employed by a government? No way, a majority of the people paying her salary belong to the group disparaged.
Of course, given the weaselly wording, she’s probably not actually been fired.
So I’m guessing in zero’s next term he will make Dr. Gosnell Surgeon General and this teacher the Secretary of Education.
It’s too close to call on whether they would be confirmed.
Give the obese, ignorant waste of skin her make-work government job back.
You cannot deal with reality if you deny its existence.
I can't stand this Leftist bilge. As if someone will NOT enter another time period without someone's "help."
Of course, this just means Leftist propagandizing of students, nothing more.
Then perhaps they should fire her because she can’t construct an english sentence. “Oh well....its most of the whites who is getting blown away.”
Should our educators be held to a standard of literacy?
Well, she IS a school counselor. The destination for "-studies" majors.
You are exactly right and I know an Obama supporting teacher who uses that same kind of speak.
The Obama's racist attitudes are plain to see and they have subsequently spurred on many of their persuasion who have been guarding themselves in the past.
its most of the whites who is getting blown away./

Real Mensa material there. S/
Relieved of duties? No, this is a resume enhancer for an 0-administration bureaucrat.
I have degree in social work, but I will say that there are some people who go into it because they truly want to help others, and some who go into it because if you don’t care about the people you are supposed to be helping out, its easy to be lazy and get paid for doing nothing.
The District has a diverse student population with 63.1 percent Hispanic students, 17.6 percent black students, 15.1 percent white students, 3.7 percent Asian students, and .5 percent American Indian students.
Looks like Karon Wright showed us what to expect a white minority will be treated like. I'm 25 and stuff like this makes me worry about having children one day.
Uh-huh. Facebook and Twitter seem to have real problems with hacking, but only for controversial posts.
If she is fired, she’ll go on welfare...she won’t lose.
My Niece is in a Masters Program at a “Southern” College.
At an orientation meeting, the Black Female Professor handed out some paperwork so the Students could provide some personal information.
She told them, “fill these out so we know who you is”.
Maybe it’s just Obonics, like Aksing a question about an Amber Lamps.
