According to her profile on the popular networking website Linked In, Karon Wright describes her professional aspirations this way:
Eager to bring students into the twenty-first century using a unique combination of education and counseling experience coupled with thirteen years of healthcare background in physical medicine and rehabilitative counseling.
Those publicly stated aspirations seem to be in direct conflict with a comment allegedly made by the school counselor — a comment that has gotten her in some very hot water.
Ms. Wright was a counselor at Andrew Jackson Middle School in Grand Prairie ISD. That was until the district announced that she has been “immediately relieved of all duties.” The action was reportedly taken after an offensive remark written from her Facebook page (now removed from the web) was posted on WFAA-TV’s Facebook page. The statement in question referenced to the tragedy in West, Texas.
WFAA’s report states that the school district was quite clear in how they viewed the statement attributed to Ms. Wright, calling it “highly offensive, insensitive to the tragedy happening to our friends and neighbors in West, and disrespectful to the very human bond that we share with the people of West, especially those who have lost their loved ones.”
The school has also removed any reference to Karon Wright from their Staff section on the website.

I’m beginning to grow a very strong suspicion of anyone in the areas of “social” anything. No education, no class, and most definitely no IQ. Face it, they are there because they are too untalented even to go into politics.
Actually I appreciate her honesty, since there is so damn little left in this country. A little honest hate is refreshing.

We have a Constitutional right to free speech but we do not have a constitutional right to a job.
In this current situation that is happening she should know that she also could be held as a suspect as a terrorist.
The timeline of when she said the account was hacked would be interesting.
If that claim is true, then the onus would be on her (IMO) to immediately contact FB, get it pulled, and post an explanation/apology.

Who wants to bet the New York Times won't cover this story... but they WOULD have covered it if the races had been switched... little hypocrites.

What she says as quoted in the article is equivocal. She does say she was hacked, but then she say that the the statement does not reflect her character. That’s different from saying that she did not make the comment. I’d like to see the prior posts that she was responding to. If the other people were making crude jokes about Obama’s having made a statement about the plant explosion, maybe she was just ineptly answering in kind. It is sort of illogical to think that industrial accidents (or even terrorist attacks) would lead to the extinction of all white people. Maybe it’s a sick enough fantasy to justify immediate loss of job, but I’m not sure.

They can trace the origin of the comment to determine if the account was hacked or not. I’m guessing that it wasn’t, but it is possible. If it originated from the IP address of her computer, she’s guilty. If it originated from, say, China, she needs to take better care of her passwords.
