Wow! I’d heard of others having very long waits. My DH and I are in our 80s now, so might have a hard time convincing the powers that be, that we just want to join a club.

Do you have to “join a club” and ask permission in order to speak freely or in order to attend (or not attend) the church of your choice as well? How about peaceably assembling - do you need to join a club and ask permission to do that?
