Plenty of us are armed. I have gun and so do most of my friends and relatives. Not to mention all the gang bangers in the inner city. We have as much guns any red state.
where are you in MA because I know of not one person in MA who has a gun and I know many including my wifes loon family.
She from Quincy, I worked in Boston, her family in Quincy, Boston, Taunton, Raynham, mostly south shore but I do know many on the north shore mainly around Melrose, Peabody.
No one I know has a gun and nearly all hate guns, hell my wife hated guns until I talked her in to getting one and getting her out of MA

The chance of someone in MA being armed in a public area is extremely low. Ergo, violent criminals are not likely to be forcibly opposed. Having weapons at home is useless in detering public violence. MuttTheHupple’s comment is quite reasonable.
