My last boss was Kenyan African and one of the hardest working guys I know.

He was not impressed by American blacks in general. I would not say he ‘hated’ them because this man had no hatred in his body.

“My last boss was Kenyan African and one of the hardest working guys I know.”

Its not the color, its the culture.

I have worked with several black engineers, almost all of them from abroad, a scant few American born. All were good guys, but the ones from abroad were generally very hard working, clean living, dependable and were confused or frustrated why US born blacks did NOTHING to work hard and take advantage of the many opportunities these engineers saw them have.

The only bad black engineer I have ever worked with was a Somali who was very lazy and evaded all responsibility for his mistakes.

I once met an "African American," a man from Liberia who had recently become an American citizen. He was extremely proud of his citizenship, hard working, and extremely courteous. We spoke for a while about the American political system... This was shortly before Obama was first elected, and he was horrified that Obama could possibly be elected president, simply because he had no experience, no skills, and his history.
