When I read how critical the uncle was of his nephews I suggested to my classmates he knew something...

“I wonder when Obama will blame Bush for this.”

I’m sure he’ll try (why would he change in doing so for 5 years). That dog won’t hunt (except with the Lame Stream Media), given Obummer stated that the War on Terror was over last year (he only used terrorism earlier this week after he had been blasted by some conservatives for not calling it what it was - - I think terror and terrorism sticks in his throat - hard for him to get out).

I wonder if he’ll start referring to the Boston TERROR bombings as a workplace violence incident or a homeland contigency operation (as opposed to an “overseas contigency operation”).

So, the Obama State Department declares the “War on Terrorism” Over

So, the Obama State Department declares the “War on Terrorism” Over

Late last week a State Department spokesman uttered “The war on terror is over.”

That utterance was followed up by President Obama’s surprise trip to Afghanistan (“coincidentally” on the anniversary of the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden, or so we are told…). While in Afghanistan, Obama gave a political speech aimed at folks back home in America in which he echoed the sentiments of his State Department spokesman in essentially declaring Al Qaeda beaten.

One of best movies of all time:

You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won’t have it! Is that clear?! Do you think you’ve merely stopped a business deal? That is not the case. The Arabs have taken billions of dollars out of this country, and now they must put it back! It is ebb and flow, tidal gravity! It is ecological balance!

I’ve seen Boston Latin listed, but that’s a high school.

The high school he went to was Cambridge Rindge & Latin.

No argument there, they should use it as a down range nuke testing area.

The issue is that the other side isn’t stupid. The “fly paper” strategy worked for a while, till the other side realized that there are tons of targets in the mainland USA.

Plus, the flypaper strategy isn't in use any more. We completely left Iraq, and Afgahnistan is now a mess. We don't have a leader focused on stopping Islamic terror any more, he's more interested in public relations to make the middle east look non-threatening. Plus, no one ever said we have no domestic threat due to aggressive action oversees. If the leaders of the terror are focused on those targets, and also kept on the run, it greatly lessens the chances of attack here.

Thank you for your service... and, for your perspective.

Sometimes, I feel like a lone wolf in the world defending the “Bush Doctrine” and our efforts (Successes) in Iraq.

I hope you don’t mind if I clip your comments to add to my collection of ‘arguments’.

BREAKING UPDATE: @ABC reports the Tsarnaev brothers admitted their role in Boston bombing to carjacking victim — http://abcn.ws/117ofLs

From article: Anzor Tsarnaev directed a message to his boys, saying, "Give up. Give up. You have a bright future ahead of you." However, he added that if police killed his son, "then all hell will break loose."

Sounds like a threat. Father needs to be arrested right now.

He’s a student at UMass Dartmouth, not medical school. He’s only 19, right? So he might be pre-med. He went to high school in Cambridge and was even given a scholarship by the city - courtesy of tax dollars.
