I think this is the new face of criminal investigation in the politically correct world:
1. make NO mention of the perp’s ethnicity if he isn’t white. This is also seen in riots over air jordans. Refer to the perps by any other adjective...youths, teens, etc...but never ethnicity.
2. instruct the people ONLY to focus on the photos and the faces of the people in the images. GO out of your way to make sure that you say nothing that could possibly be interpreted as racist. (note, this is also suspended if the alleged perp is white and the alleged victim is a minority, even if its simply a matter of one being MORE white than the other. See also Zimmerman, George).
3. when a minority, particularly a suspected muslim or arab, go out of your way to delay bringing the public into the investigation if there is any possibility of backlash. Remember, while we dont want the suspects to escape, it would be an even greater tragedy if any racial violence happens as a result (again, suspended if the victim is a minority, the perp white, and the backlash violence is a minority riot).
These cats are probably in a safe house by now, or in a trunk headed to canada, or on a slow boat to Venezuela. But at least we didn’t discriminate! Amirite? Amirite?!
