Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office Richard DesLauriers, United States Attorney Carmen Ortiz, and FBI JTTF law enforcement partners will hold a press briefing today, April 18, regarding the Boston Marathon investigation, at 5:00 p.m. at The Sheraton Hotel, 39 Dalton Street, Third Floor, Commonwealth Ballroom, Boston.
Valid media credentials are required for admittance.

If these were Americans they wouldnt try to look the part..nowadays young people don’t even wear their hats backwards anymore, that was a fad back in the early 90s, its worn out..the guy wearing the white hat is trying to look the part..its something that is taught by Al Qaeda, to blend into a crowd you have to look the part, you have to look like your an American..the one wearing the black hat doesn’t wear it backwards, he might be Americanized
It just doesn’t sit right with me. Why is #2 so willing to flaunt his face? His backpack is definitely large enough for a pressure cooker and it appears to be full of something. Also his backpack looks very much like the one in several frames during the race. But #1 backpack isn’t large enough or even bulging. I’ve been canning for many years and are familiar with most sizes and brands of pressure cookers. Something just doesn’t feel right about this. They just seem too cavalier, not focused or nervous. Maybe my government distrust is overwhelming my judgement.
Agree...... doesn’t make sense. He did nothing to hide his face. He is even videoed while watching the race. Who would knowingly stroll around with a bomb banging around in a backpack? Good sense would tell you to get in and out..... If they wanted to get away with it and live they would have tried to conceal themselves in some way.

I must be mistaken if I am the only one who seems to have heard it. But I thought that one of the tv reporters said that their use of twitter was one of the factors used in identifying them. I assume now that I did not hear it correctly, though.
My 37 year old daughter said the same thing. Wearing the hat backwards is no longer the in thing except for some rappers.
Some guy on reddit claiming he saw these guys at a motel 6 in MA where he works....would imply they are out-of-towners, if accurate. But could be some bogus guy, don’t leap to any conclusions
This is just my opinion but these photos have been in the hands of law enforcement for quite some time. They have checked with every database in the US cross checking passport,drivers license and mug shots. NO HITS. They have shared these photos with many agencies NO HITS. If these two were members of any watch group they would have a jacket. This points to foreign operators to me.
On that note why has the CIA director not been at all these meetings per the press just FBI and Justice. Incompetence?
I used to see the hat wearing backwards fad when watching “Full House” that show was in the late 80’s, early 90s..back then it was all the face..Vanilla Ice used to do it..or some rappers would wear the hat on the side..now its just lame..no one wears their hat backwards anymore..but the guy wearing the black hat doesn’t wear it like that, he wears it normally..so he might have been born in this country or is Americanized..the guy in the white hat is just trying to blend in..if he were American he wouldn’t be caught dead wearing his hat backwards, he would look like a geek
Why would you hide your face and make yourself more conspicuous? Obviously, they appear to have stymied the authorities who still have not identified them. The public help is needed even with the video/photo. The trail appears cold. They could be long gone by now.
Yeah, in the FBI photo the guy’s hand is visible and it looks normal...can’t really see his arm though. I don’t think it’s the same guy...
