President Obama was visibly angry during his press conference yesterday, voicing disappointment with the Senate for failing to pass an amendment requiring universal background checks for gun sales.
The president, however, insisted it was still possible to “bring about meaningful changes that reduce gun violence” outside of Congress.
“Even without Congress, my administration will keep doing everything it can to protect more of our communities,” Obama insisted. “We’re going to address the barriers that prevent states from participating in the existing background check system. We’re going to give law enforcement more information about lost and stolen guns so it can do its job. We’re going to help to put in place emergency plans to protect our children in their schools.”

“[I]f this Congress refuses to listen to the American people and pass common-sense gun legislation, then the real impact is going to have to come from the voters,” he added.
Somebody should tell him “They Won”.
Question-will it make easier for the states which so choose to oppose Obama’s gun-grabbing if he does it through illegal executive order type acts, and doing an end-run around Congress, the representatives of the people’s will? Because if he tries to play dirty like that, the states are going to have to take up the fight. So far, Congress has let him get away with his “executive orders” (diktats)
Arming teachers and banning gun free zones? Cool!
I wish just ONE of them had the guts to go before national media and say exactly that! I’d love to hear his response! Heck, if it meant anything coming from me and I could command the camera time, I’d say it!

How about Obama stops criminals from crossing our borders, puts gangbangers in prison when they commit crimes, and enforces the laws on the books?
It's not as much fun as taking guns away from law biding citizens but it would help achieve his goals IF he was telling the truth..

I believe zero just admitted that he already has a registry database. He has to have that info if he’s going to give it to law enforcement.
