The wisdom Frank tried to impart on CNN this morning is that the best way to fight against terrorism is by making government a lot bigger.

No tax cut would have helped us deal with this or will help us recover. This is very expensive.”

I read that we have about 6 million Muslims in America. If only one tenth of one percent, 6,000, are radical to the point of carrying out individual acts of terror, we are in for a long dark string of horrors. Take the radicals, along with cartel members and other malcontents and ask this of Barney: Who let them in?

Frank was a prime mover in the emasculation of the old Walter-McCarren Act (about 1950 or 54) to the Immigration and Naturalization Act, which kept communists and communist sympathizers, and other undesirable people out of the US by denying them a visa.
He, STENNY HOYER (D-MD, Democratic Whip), Kennedy, Moynihan and some others, mainly on the far-left in Congress, teamed up to destroy the security checks on potential visitors and immigrants. The vote was about 1988 or 89 and it passed. World Trade Center was 1993, by Saudi Arabians.

Stunning stupidity: If the biggest government the world has ever seen has a larger problem with terrorism than most other smaller governments, it defies every rule of logic to conclude that an even bigger government could possibly reduce terrorism.
The logic and facts leave no room for doubt or argument: Terrorism is positively correlated with abusive, tyrannical, oppressive government. And tyrannical government is positively correlated with bigger government having greater powers and fewer constraints.
Did Barney had-to-be-Frank-cause-he-ain’t-worth-Beans miss the fact that untold Billion$ spent on Big Government “Homeland Security” failed to stop 3 bombs yesterday? I doubt that the wounded and the families of the dead see that as a success.
