I know how you feel about Iran, but God tells us to love everyone and these are just people who might hate their regime.
That comment is no less than Pakistanis celebrating in the street after 9/11.

This is a thinly-populated area of Iran but the people there aren't even Persian - they are Balochi, and have been fighting a terrorist/independence (depending on your point of view) campaign against the Iranian government for a long time.

Then it's a good thing I'm not superstitious.

Reminds me of all the clueless types that would gloat over an earthquake in Christian areas of Indonesia....

The more bad things that happen to them, the better. God allowed the earthquake to happen there, maybe he dislikes them too.

Why do I get the feeling Obama will get more concerned about THIS than the Marathon bombing, god I hate looking at his dead fish doll eyes when he speaks, soulless cold icy nothing inside type of eyes.

Rural villagers in Iran don’t deserve to die just because of the border they happen to live inside.

God allowed the earthquake to happen there,
Great! I was looking for someone that had unique insight into precisely what disasters are caused or allowed by God and why, and you're perfect! I just have a few questions I hope you can help me with:
1) So why are earthquakes caused or allowed by God but tornadoes never are?
2) Why is a hurricane hitting the Northeast God's punishment but one hitting the Gulf Coast is not?
To: HereInTheHeartland
USGS automatic pager system is estimating there’s a 50% no one was killed in this earthquake. A really, really, unpopulated desert area.
To: Strategerist
Well according to “Bert”, that is drivel...
And he is entitled to his opinion, but doesn’t make me not feel sad for him.
I should totally let him rejoice in the possible death of people. /s

Next time we get together for a beer, I'll ask.
