A picture posted on Twitter shows an individual walking on the roof directly overlooking one of the blasts at the Boston Marathon.
The picture of the mystery person was posted shortly after the terror attack and raises the eerily possibility that one of the perpetrators watched as the carnage was unleashed.
Law-enforcement sources told the New York Post that a 20-year-old Saudi man was detained at a Boston hospital.

It may or may not be anything. The fact that there’s only one person indicates that there wasn’t a party going on. However, when my daughters lived in the Brighton section they used to watch the Boston Marathon from up there. Lots of young people did.
And by the second blast, cell towers were jammed with 911 & other calls, interfering with further dial-a-detonator calls to remaining devices.
We all here commented on this guy yesterday.
now that is an old “photo”......
of course the college cabal will howl because they get full fare from these students....how else can they keep their industry growing?
As an Electrical Engineer (specializing in Telecommunications), you can detonate a device from a wide spectrum of frequencies.
The feds do not call the cell companies to shut down for a specific event...takes too long...Now in the long term, they will do this if they consider this a long term attack....example, not event specific but city wide...
They just “jam” the frequencies used 850MGZ to 1900MGZ and also the WIFI freq’s of 2.4 to 5.8....
A couple of well placed powerful freq jammers with control at a event security center could be implemented in seconds....This is really a low tech but effective solution...
I would imagine this is what happened based on the events that only two devices went off and the other two failed....
Of course, this would be an operational security issue so the feds would never admit to it, nor should they...
Common sense and logic has no place during a crisis.

The third device was smoking when it was found under the bleachers. It was detonated by the bomb squad with a fire hose. Also it is not uncommon for people to walk on the rooftops whether a marathon is happening or not.

It could be a guy who wanted to watch the race from the roof. Or he could have been working on the roof. I’ve been on roofs before. Most roofs have either hatches or stairs that go right up to them.
