***I don’t think the two Genesis Creation accounts can be interpreted literally due to the fact that there are two Genesis accounts describing the Creator with two very different names.***
God has way more than two names in the bible.... this is a specious argument. You can view all the names of God here:

The so-called “two Genesis accounts” argument is easily refuted by anyone who studies the bible.... that includes me. Fill me in on what you say the differences are and I’ll be glad to help you out.
I suggest you read it yourself and not go to some bible-thing website.
Previous post should say “bible-hating”.
Hey R7..... It looks like you picked up a thread here that’s been dead for over 5 months.
allmendream was very active on this thread on he has been banned. I notice that you’re brand new to FR. You’re not allmendream all dressed up in a new screen name are you?
What kind of “Activism” do you think would be appropriate? At this point I think you’re probably going to need a global theocracy, and a lot of book burning and re-education to get the correct results.
I’ve found about the same percentage of geologists who believe the Earth is billions of years old as those who have never taken a course in Philosophy nor have drilled down to the underlying premises of their thinking.
Most of them build upon premises begging the question of their inquiry.
The first account has “Elohim” as Creater and “Elohim” is a plural word. The second account has “Yahweh” as Creator, which is singular.
