The liberals who are usually out screaming about “separation of church and state!!!” would love it. Ideally for them, Wright would be given a Queen Elizabeth type title of “Supreme Governor and Protector of the Faith of the Church of Illinois”. Trinity UCC (which is alarmingly only a 15 min. drive from me) would be named the official Illinois State Cathedral, and crown Chicago machine politicians when they take office. The elected pol in turn would take an oath swearing loyalty to the goals of Trinity UCC and affirming Obama is their Lord and savior. Politicians from churches that do not support “social justice” would be barred from running.
They’d also love it if the 17th amendment was repealed. They’re “against” repealing it now the same the way libs were “against” the President taking too much vacation time when Bush was President.
