7. California has the nation’s highest energy prices

Other than that, California’s comeback is going great.

I remember visiting Cali in the early 70s and what an amazing place it was.

Born here in 1955, I don’t see it ever getting better.
That's why I left Michigan as soon as I could and moved to Texas. Most of the rural people in Michigan were the salt of the earth, but the major metro areas and union thugs drug the state into the abyss. So much industry and natural resources down the tubes.
Texas has it's issues, but it's the best positioned state to survive the coming SHTF...
