WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — President Barack Obama on Wednesday unveiled a budget that would cut entitlement programs, tax the wealthy and reduce the U.S. budget deficit by nearly $2 trillion while funneling new money to education and infrastructure in an effort to bolster the middle class.

The 10-year blueprint contains an offer made to House Speaker John Boehner during the “fiscal cliff” talks late last year, and Obama calls the measure a compromise that demonstrates his goal of a tax and spending deal with Republicans.

“The package I am offering includes some difficult cuts that I do not particularly like,” Obama said in his budget message, a reference to the estimated $230 billion in savings from using so-called “chained CPI” for calculating Social Security and other payments. The budget would also cut $400 billion from Medicare and reduce farm subsidies and other programs by $200 billion.

Communists sure know how to work the system. When you add that at lease 2/3 of Americans are uninformed and more than half of these are communists Democrats on the take, we are in deep shi!. Really too late for America to truly wake up. When we lost Romney we really lost a chance.

Throw granny under the bus and sign up the illegals for a net gain in voters. That’s how I read it.

Screwing the old and the rich , and always with the funneling to education, without doubt the education is costing us more and giving us less than any other agency, but we just keep funneling them more money.

If Obama thought this up it sucks, Just that simple.

Raising income taxes on the rich (Buffett) is a sham. It will have little to no effect because most of their money is sheltered as non-income sources and is not eligible to be taxed.

FUBO, FAD, & down with the democrat party

“compromise”

LOL!

barky is doubling down and going after the rest of the $1.3 TRILLION tax hike he demanded from Boehner after supposedly making a deal in 2011 for $800 Billion

He demanded $1.3 TRILLION when Boehner battered down the GOP Congress and came back to him to seal the deal

what an azzhat- both of them - when Boehner folds again

In other words, he’s taxing those who didn’t vote for him in order to pay off those who did.

Ain’t megalomania grand....
