Fifteen-year-old Daniel Romeike loves America his adopted country. But if the Obama Administration has its way, Daniel, his parents and his brothers and sisters will be deported in a court battle over the right to home school.
If I had a chance to talk to President Obama, I would ask him to let us stay in this great country of freedom and opportunity, Daniel told Fox News.
The Romeike family fled their German homeland in 2008 seeking political asylum in the United States where they hoped to home school their children. Instead, the Obama administration wants the evangelical Christian family deported.

Oh that's right. This family isn't likely to vote Democrat, they aren't on the government dole, and they want to teach their kids to think for themselves and not just toe the government line.
To ask the question...is to answer it....
meanwhile Barry’s illegal alien welfare aunt and drunk driving uncle are still here, right?
I know...but still it’s horrible to see it printed there in black and white.
If they had snuck into the country, they would have been better off. Trying to do it by the rules and using political asylum (in their case) was silly. They never really qualified for political asylum.
He hates it when he cannot CONTROL children’s education. Homeschooling doesn’t indoctrinate children into Leftist philosophy.
Their youngest child was born in America.
I guess having anchor babies doesn’t work if you’re not in an approved ‘nority.
It is, along with the idea that children do not belong to their parents and the idea that gay couples are entitled to fertility treatments and that not wanting gay players in the NFL has something to do with same sex marriage.....Orwell would be embarrassed by the headlines of the last 24 hours.

This family is a Christian family....right?
Obama hates Christians. If this were a Coptic Christian family from Egypt seeking asylum, he’d send them back to be beheaded.
On the other hand, after reading what happened recently in New Jersey to a Coptic family at the hands of muslims, he might just send them there. They’d be beheaded either way.
There is the apparent visceral disgust for the lack of melanin,
but I’m thinking his hatred is more for their uncompromising Christian values.
What gets me is that they were approved for asylum,
AND HOLDER _APPEALED_ the granting of asylum.
In other words, they went out of their way to go after these people.
The left, their leader, and their father
would all like to get a precedent on record for
“no right to homeschool”.
muslim vs Christan
black vs white
lib vs conservative
progressive vs traditional
the choice is yours or all the above, it depends on what ever reason the little boy king wants to use.
I have not seen wholesale MSM rejection of this family, which tends to make me believe this is Odungo’s decision.
They should pretend they are Mexican. There will never be a problem from here on out.
Two reasons.
Christian.
Home schooling.
Next question?
This is about religious asylum- establishing that we are not a Christian nation, and also that there is no right of parents to homeschool children, and to set the precedent that children belong to the collective. It is not really about this family- but they are at the wrong place at the wrong time.
The Germans obey compulsory attendance laws as Americans do, sending their children off to godless government schools without a second thought.
Americans conceded their children to the government a long time ago.
The brave resisters, like this family, are rare.
Yet millions of Americans home-school their kids. Strange.
Racism, anti Christian,Obama’s administration is filled with both.
Yes for some reason they are going out of their way to seek this couple and screw over them.
This is Obama’s new America.
Yet we have lots of private Christian faith schools in this country and many, many Americans who home-school their kids.
