President Obama will tell Senate Republicans it’s “not right” to filibuster his gun control agenda, according to excerpts of his the prepared remarks he will make Monday in Connecticut.
“Some back in Washington are already floating the idea that they might use political stunts to prevent votes on any of these reforms,” Obama will say, according to the remarks. “They’re not just saying they’ll vote ‘no’ on ideas that almost all Americans support. They’re saying they won’t allow any votes on them at all. They’re saying your opinion doesn’t matter. And that’s not right.”
Obama’s speech centering on the Capitol Hill machinations represents how much of the gun control debate has slipped away from him. He’s gone from making an impassioned case for a sweeping agenda to bemoaning Republicans’ ability to block even the smallest reform.

He's screaming and yelling. He's whipping up the crowd into a partisan frenzy demanding a vote on the 2nd Amendment. He's trying every trick in the book. He's even flying in relatives of the dead Newtown kids to exploit their grief.
Our answer? No. The 2nd Amendment is NOT up for a vote.

CBS was on the tv at the gym tonight. They were “all gun control, all the time”. I have no respect for main stream media, but even I couldn’t believe how much time they spent on it and the bias that they showed. It almost appeared that they had orders from...somebody.
If Universal Background Checks were done at the time of the founding of this nation, the Founding Fathers would have been hung with that information.

That's a great point! Nobody had the cajones to stand up and try to fillibuster that law...I'm glad that some at last are standing up to this tin pot dictator.
Mr. Obama, people have a right to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. No amount of infringement can break this right. You can try all you want, but, in the end, it will still be there.
Why do you use every oppurtunity to try to undo the Bill of Rights?
You are beginning to be perceived as one who wants to undo the Constitution. Is that what you want?
