Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer brought momentarily silence, and not the kind that is out of respect, to a Fox News panel on “Special Report” after National Review columnist Jonah Goldberg said that Obama will not get a vote on the majority of new gun control legislation that he wants. “All he wants now is the money,” Krauthammer responded.
Several seconds of silence followed Krauthammer’s, “all he wants now is the money” comment. It was as if everyone at the table had been caught off guard, including host Chris Wallace.
Wallace finally recovered stating, “You don’t really mean that.”
“He’s lost on gun control,” Krauthammer responded.
When opposed by stating that he would get expanded background checks, Krauthammer indicated that it is “not going to make any difference.” He also went on to state that background checks were the “last item standing, the smallest item standing.” He said it’s the only one that Obama could possibly get, which I point out would be a huge blow to gun owners and the Second Amendment. Remember, Gun Owners of America and the National Rifle Association openly oppose expansion of background checks. However, as I wrote about here, West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin and the NRA have been engaged in private talks on a proposal to broaden background checks on purchasers of firearms.

A lot of us understand perfectly well what Krauthammer was getting at. Obama does not want SOLUTIONS, he wants the ISSUES!
...and confiscate the money such a program would cost.
I watched that. Nothing he said was stunning. I didn’t understand the silence. But we do know that Wallace is no conservative.

And yet still no one makes the argument that background are evil.
With the current technology, doing background checks can easily turn into a national data base of gun owners.
That data base can be used by an unscrupulous government in any number of creative ways to defeat the second amendment.
Obama in a nutshell.
Rather than play a defense that must eventually erode into failure, the defenders of the 2nd Amendment need to play offense with seeking the repeal of the existing infringements of the 2nd Amendment. At worst, the laws would get no worse, and at best the unconstitutional laws would be repealed.
Anyone with half functioning brain cells would know hussein is only fleecing the sheep at this point...

I ,for one of many, know Obama is after money.....he has favors and debts he still is paying off..both hear and internationally...and using it to trump anyone who gets in his way from being the player he desires... And that is the bottom line. Issues are simply the point of reference to debate...money is indeed what he's after.
This is most certantly the underlining current of the Obama administration from day one.
After even when offered his own solutions to a problem he simply changed his position to no longer be comparable with his prior position and thus was is now offered.
The mean quite obviously has no interest in any solution whatsoever. Even on the Sequester which he proposed when republicans offered to give him unlimited flexablity on the cuts he threatened to veto any such legislation.
Veto your own flexibility?
The big miracle for Obama is how his democratic base manages to remain so ignore of their dear leaders behavioral. You would think they would be upset with him for turning down his own proposals when offered.
The man has the arrogance to tell his base he don’t have the power to do what he wants to do, but the truth is he don’t have the will to do even what he proposes to do.
Camel, nose, tent...anyone who thinks the gun-grabbers will settle for gun registrion without working toward confiscation is a fool.
Well, he does want one solution, a Final Solution so he can please his Saudi masters.

Basically, Krauthammer told them on-air, “Hey. Does anyone else see this elephant??” Obama has a year and a half until the next Presidential election cycle begins. All he wants to do now is bankrupt the middle class so he can get as many people as possible on the dole. You’re right. He wants ISSUES.
I guess like anything with the ObOzO the devil will be in the details. They may just leave a huge loophole. ObOzO really doesn’t give a crap about anything but fund raising so it is likely.
Thats put perfectly. 2014 is all about wedge issues. There will be no reforms no solutions.
