President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle will host a star-studded roster of music legends April 9 for another glitzy installment in the “In Performance at the White House” concert series, according to a White House press released issued Tuesday.
The concert comes as the White House is emphasizing cuts caused by sequestration and criticizing reporters for not paying enough attention to the hardship caused by the mandatory slowdown in the rate of spending increases. Though the White House notably canceled all visitor tours in March, ostensibly due to sequestration, the First Couple’s series of White House concerts — billed as “the nation’s highest honor for popular song” — manages to survive.

Would seen like it, but, unfortunately, no....
Those stars are understandably doing this (I think) to support PBS - however, since Obama is using the W/H as a propaganda tool against those who oppose him and recent immature gestures on Zero’s part - I think this concert is in bad form....and should not go ahead as planned. Zero is obviously using it for his own personal good and entertainment and is billing it as a fund raiser...this administration is sick!

Today he is going to Conn. and Colorado to campaign at $180,000,00 an hour on AF1, then he’s having a party at our expense. It is very clear he wants to make us suffer because of sequestration. The spineless republicans just sit while their constituents suffer.

I am already there. It’s become obviously clear that none of them give a rat’s a— about any of us. Useless idiots we all are to them.
We have to get rid of the incumbents. To much cronyism. We are already suffering, so do it now and get it over with. It will hurt for awhile, but the outcome will be worth it. Either that or term limits for all.
I am way past sick of this nonsense.
