SC's ex-Gov. Sanford clears hurdle in comeback bid

"I want to thank my God," Sanford said. "I used to cringe when somebody would say I want to thank my God because at that point I would think this is getting uncomfortable. But once you really receive God's grace and (have) seen it reflected in others you stop and acknowledge that grace and the difference He has made in my life and in so many lives across this state and across this nation."

Well then, vote Democrat. It’s that simple.

Women aren’t supporting Markie. It’s men who fantasize about illicit sex like the former guy is getting and identify with him. They get to cheat vicariously. Mark would do anything la Puta wants if she just keeps taking off her clothes, he’s already proven that he cares nothing for anything or anyone except his personal gratification, sexual and political and otherwise. I wouldn’t trust him around the unborn or born if he wanted to get his rocks off.

The Puta found her “Juan Peron.”

Years ago, I would occasionally ponder what I would do if confronted with the situation in which I had to choose whether or not to vote for a candidate who ostensibly has a decent, conservative voting record, but also proved to be a degenerate scuzzball in his personal life.

I don’t really wonder about this anymore. With the country in rapid cultural and moral decay, and continuing its swirl down the toilet, the importance of “character” is something I actually find myself valuing more and more. I would NEVER give my vote to such a lowlife like Sanford. No matter how vile the opposing candidate. I’d just sit out the election.

The main reason to not support him would be that he is a liberal, and the hope would be that a strong conservative would beat him.

Again for the choice is simple. Vote Democrat.

Agreed. We’ve all been voting for the lesser of two evils and it’s not working. Abandoning our principles isn’t a winner.

I don’t think God had anything to do with this.

You have two tasks here.

1. Prove that Obama can't be trusted by his family.

2. Prove that they don't trust him.

Not my district. But I can donate. Colbert may be a nitwit, but she’s not a whore. and it’s less than two years and maybe the hooker will have taken Mark by then, for all he’s worth and hell go away and not show his pathetic face in South Carolina again!

Well I respect you points of view friends but some things in my opinion are way more important than some guy cheating on his wife, which is an extremely common occurrence and has been for all time.

Letting hollywood liberals steal a South Carolina house seat from us because of all things adultery, is too much irony for me to bare.

Anything that puts a smile on Pelosi and Obama’s faces is too much for me to bare. I see can that piece of garbage Colbert doing his little mock conservative Bill O’Reilly character on his little TV show pretending to be upset that his liberal sister won all the while winking at his audience full of lily White college idiots who voted to reelect their cool Black President and think Comedy Central is the place to come to for real news. I can see and it’s enough to make wanna put my fist through the TV. I can see feminazis crowing about girl power, a cheating husband defeated! Yay. Another woman elected, a woman who supports killing little girls in the womb. All because Mark Sanford put his thing some where. No.

We’re in war, being fought with ballots instead of bullets. If Truman can kill a bunch of Japanese women and children, Freepers can support Mark Sanford.

I don’t mean to be dramatic here but the casual “oh well just let the democrat win then” vibe I’m picking up in this thread is DANGEROUS, very dangerous.

I’m betwixt and between:
I believe in God’s infinite grace, so I don’t want to disparage Sanford’s claim of redemption. I would have preferred he found his redemption prior to his infidelity, and barring that, leaving the object of his unfaithful lusts and reconciling with his wife.

This is a bit unseemly to me; but I hope he truly has worked out his salvation with fear and trembling.

How about not voting at all. The choice is a liberal or an immoral man. How do we win by abandoning our principles.....

I fail to understand why you seem to think he’ll vote liberal.

There are a lot of Democrat women in politics who are neither hookers nor whores. Look at the damage they have done, and continue to do. But one more couldn’t hurt much could she?

I guess he is right up there with Newt, although at least he didn’t ask for a divorce while his wife was hospitalized with cancer.
