The United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday signed off on a sweeping, first-of-its-kind treaty to regulate the international arms trade, brushing aside worries from U.S. gun rights advocates that the pact could lead to a national firearms registry and disrupt the American gun market.
The long-debated U.N. Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) requires countries to regulate and control the export of weaponry such as battle tanks, combat vehicles and aircraft and attack helicopters, as well as parts and ammunition for such weapons. It also provides that signatories will not violate arms embargoes, international treaties regarding illicit trafficking, or sell weaponry to a countries for genocide, crimes against humanity or other war crimes.
With the Obama administration supporting the final treaty draft, the General Assembly vote was 154 to 3, with 23 abstentions.

Bunch of pu**ies. Come here to America you blue helmet bastards and let’s see you enforce it.
or are they going to write 50 stern “letters” to disarm?
And local law enforcement will mostly do what is told, and do so thinking it is the right thing to do. Just like they did with fugitive slaves and the internment of Japanese Americans.
When I look at the haunting pictures of innocent civilians being led to their slaughter. The pics of men and woman kneeling down with an officer or soldier pointing a muzzle at the back of their head and how little time they had on this earth the moment the pic was snapped....makes me think of your comment above.
I often vow, I will never kneel down and let some jack-boot pop a hole in the back of my head. Go down fighting like a free man.
Only for the non-compliant!
So, the President’s men will duly designate the next bunch of gun nuts as terrorists, and BATF can just drone-strike them.
Problem solved.
Media hype. Nothing “overrides” our constitution, but ultimatly, it is up to us to enforce it. How many folks here have kin in the US military that are now serving stateside? I do. Time to call these patriots, and remind them that they may be needed here at home.
The UN can “pass” anything they want to, my response will be to “pass” gas....
I agree! Bring it on you red necked peckerwoods!

You place far too much credit in his minions.
Me, too. With relish.
Since when has any country abided by the UN’S “laws” they attempt to pour on the nations. Whatever they try to regulate simply gives nations a roadmap on how to get around it...nothing more.
Don’t know how to take that remark...in my neck of the woods, “Red Neck” isn’t an epithet; it is a mark of having done work in the sun....
This will only increase our resolve.
Obamacare didn't need 2/3 of the Senate to pass. This does.
I know that it won’t get ratified. And Hitler did not round up the Jews in Germany, strip them of their citizenship and the protection of the State either.
“Under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution, Senate ratification of a treaty requires that “two thirds of the Senators present concur.”
The Senate had zero authority to over-ride the 2nd amendment. As in the Shall not be infringed part. Only lawless politicians and Courts could find otherwise.
I only wish what you posted was true, but unless things change drastically, I don’t see our resolve strenghting.
Both of which are in abundant supply these days.
***Dont know how to take that remark****
Watch this and you will understand the joke.

You would have preferred me to call them (the UN) .... “Lier! LIER! BLACK LIER!”
